Up and back. Quick trip and safely back down. Cold in Grand County, one of the coldest parts of the state. To make matters worse my place is next to the river, just outside a canyon and in a low lying area. All is ok and won't be long before the onset of mud season will begin. Ice will come off the river in the next 6 weeks and at least I will be able to go out and sling lead around. Will be a few months yet before dry fly fishing will begin. Did get some great picks of the sunrise/sunset though. Alpen glow is is beautiful this time of year, everything turns pink as it gets dark. Here is the sunset on Wednesday night looking toward the East over Cottonwood Pass.

The Colorado mountains are beautiful Winter, Summer, Spring or fall....I just don't like the dark and cold.

Yup, know what you mean. Back in Den today washing my truck in shorts. About mid 50's but warm. I live in two different worlds, at least in winter. Smoking some nice Purple Jones...got the cut from TTY and hoping he is still with us. If not RIP.

Volunteered for highway trash pickup this morning (adopt a highway for a friend who lost her daughter to cancer) as well as getting to spend a little time with the granddaughter which was an added bonus. Hosting a small dinner gathering this evening. :)

Sorry to see this...don't know why. WE ALL GET LOADED AND POST!!! WOULD AT LEAST LIKE AN EXPLANATION...SO WOULD HE.
@ken, why??? Maybe it would make us all better members. Oh well, another one bites the dust.

I dont know for sure that we cant talk about it..
I have been on other disscussion boards that didnt want folks to talk about bannings though.

It sucks to loose a good poster like Ty.
I hope he comes back

He won't be back ken. It's hard to return when your account(s) have had a restriction placed upon it on purpose by logic and you cannot get anything to work right. Log in is slow. Pages won't load. PM's don't work. Eventually you can't log on at all.

Sadly, the game going on here is to leave all of someone's posts...but at the same time silence the member to >make it appear< that they are still here, when in fact, they are not. Their posts remain as if all is well, when it is not. If you've ever wondered why ________ (name anyone you miss who used to post here and >appears< too be here) isn't posting, it's probably because they can't...even though it looks like they are here.

Yeah shame about him being gone- I tried and failed to join up at another site he was rumoured to be at- damn site makes it hard just to sign up.

Just finished my post work doob,

Made and baked so much bread and rolls today. Had a couple of bakers off sick so had to do a couple of jobs, grim but alas, what can you do but get on with it.

Time to get out the GSC and make a brew.

Maybe watch some Brian Cox Wonders of..

Sorry to see all the drama on this site, seems like its an ongoing thing here. A while back there were rumors of explanations of events leading up to and after a member has been banned. Thinking this is a good thing and would like to know what happened. Why the secrets...like a bunch of high school girls. Never known Ty to be overly aggressive on here and if he was could he have been provoked at a time of impairment (stoned) like we all get on here. I am in my mid 60's and I think this is childish and wish it would stop.
Other than that having a great morning after Denver's victory yesterday. Gonna get choirs done, take a long walk and enjoy the way the city/state have rallied around the team. Great feeling, hasn't happened since Elway.

Love it, no niners but no doubt whatso ever bronco's will be champs.. god almighty they looked way better than the seagulls, really think my niners played a better game just a few bad calls and breaks, so fuck the Seagulls go broncos....Am impaired, totally, thank you, and will always be a child at heart...
