nice post bro, love a good coffee.

neverbreak

No stems and seeds that we don't need, Nepal farmers grow some Bad Ass... Coffee :woot:

Seriously though, just thought I would pass on the info for true coffee lovers... Once you try something from La Colombe Coffee you'll know what real coffee is and never go back to store brands that might as well be filtered dirt...

P.S. The show "Dangerous Grounds" holds it's own as well and the guy strikes me as one that indulges in "Other" top notch grows and what they have to offer (as not to offend as A guest ;)) on his journeys across the globe...

Single Origin... That means straight from indigenous farmers to you in the fastest time possible from some of the best coffee producing destinations on the planet... Yeah it's definitely worth consideration, Enjoy ;)

Forgot to mention, Some coffee's from La Colombe Coffee are only available in whole bean form but it's some of the best flavor that way and no prob... Adjust time and amount for strength / flavor...

How is that goat manure in the garden? local nursery is trying to sell it like a hydro store trying to sell a magic bottle

@Mogrow - Nothing really happened, just worry for my family and we don't need the money and we are not a legal state.. so why risk it.. too many guys still getting busted... like 20 big busts this month already.. sad shit.

@PButter - thanks brother. Just a crop. Wish I could have tried the high CBD stuff! :)

I know exactly how you feel Legal....did it myself about 18 years back but it was more like 6 garbage bags full for me. Just could not live with that feeling of dread that someone could come busting in my door at any second with my human babies that meant more to me than anything else. I am so lucky to live in the Pacific NW:-) Hopefully it will be cool everywhere soon! We are seeing the huge cracks in prohibition of weed....pretty soon it will totally crumble!

Feeling a bit down and kicking myself about chopping.. then I remind myself next time may not be too far away....

Almost went to the trash bag to see how many I could salvage yesterday!

Legal, the plant CAN be grown again.
Big Question folks (sorry, 10th cup of coffee and if you remember been up since 3am chopping plants!)

Just read that 18 members of congress sent a letter to president asking him to change MJ SCH1 classification.
So on the rare chance that this actually happened, would getting busted still be a felony at state level?

Or would states also have to change their law before this would get downgraded?

http://finance.yahoo.com/news/marijuana-legalization-progress-members-congress-141100304.html
A letter, signed and sent by federal legislators Wednesday February 12th, 2014 states that marijuana’s current status “makes no sense,” and requests that President Obama “instruct Attorney General Holder to delist or classify marijuana in a more appropriate way.”
Obama can change rescheduling, the DEA can change it, the US Attorney General can do it, Congress can do it, there are a few mechanisms, legally, by which the change can be made. Currently the President is obfuscating and, if he were really ready and willing to back up his words, he'd have started making the changes a while ago, like when he threatened to bypass Congress just a few weeks ago regarding climate issues.
Legal, I am sorry to hear you chopped everything. I am sure everything was alright beforehand, but you now know that everything is absolutely alright.

If Cannabis is rescheduled it would still be illegal, so there would still be federal penalties. However those penalties would be reduced from what they are now. In my opinion the greatest benefit of rescheduling is that it would allow Cannabis to be used for medical purposes. In fact doctors would be allowed to write prescriptions for Cannabis, as opposed to the recommendations they write currently. It also creates an opportunity for scientists to get FDA and DEA approval to perform studies on Cannabis. So while rescheduling is not legalization, it does change the face of Cannabis laws in the USA.
Did you know that Marinol is Shed. III? That's where cannabis should be landing.

Does it come green, or has it already been roasted? If it's been roasted, you probably know that by the time it reaches you it's already very degraded.

We home roast here. We prefer highland coffees, mostly Central American.

Btw, the best way to brew is the old-fashioned way--vacuum pot, and barring that, get rid of your French press in favor of the Aeropress.

Sounds like a lot of work for a cup of coffee?
Ps. Thanks for the kind words. I know I am only out time... Really nothing else..a few hundred in beans....

Not the Aeropress, IMO it's the easiest cuppa joe I can make, especially considering the quality? Oh yeah! The vacuum pot is, for me, a lot of work. I HATE cleaning them because they're no longer made of steel, they're this borosilicate glass that SHATTERS. Makes a pretty tinkling sound.

G'Afternoon, y'all. Still cool here so I did my inside transplanting this morning. Everything went up one size & got fed, so they all looking very happy right now.
LG, I'm with ya on hoping Chickenman comes back. Place just ain't the same without him.

You are absolutely correct, once the bean is roasted the clock is ticking but how many people have the time to roast beans daily for absolute freshness? La Colombe Coffee is what is considered A micro roaster so it's about as fresh as it's going to get from the roaster to you because they only roast limited amounts @ A time. If your lucky enough to live near one of their few coffee shops house favorites are roasted daily on location...
