@nightmarecreature I was in SD a few weeks ago with one of my boys and he busts out a jar of these Stanky ass buds... turns out its was some skywalker man i was in love with the smell and taste... i remember u talking about a sativa dom skywalker and yup it sure was... straight heady high clear but wow.... so ya i had to cop a cut.... and scored that original Fruity Pebbles not aliens FPOG but the original and a Tangie cut... rubbed them stem and it smells like skunky oranges kinda stoked on that cut.... BTYfaceoff x Tangie will b in the works....

Yeah man, that Sativa Skywalker is DAF!
The best way i can describe the Skywalker, is that its sweet smelling. It smells like a pastry or dessert with a small hint of lemon. I guess you could say, lemon meringue pie is pretty close to the odor is gives off.

I released the cut to a few people(3 to be exact) and i hope to see what they can do with it.
It's 100% og, no hybrid garbage and the smell goes right threw my jars!

The Sativa Skywalker this grow destroyed the True OG and Ghost on odor. She's one stinky bitch. The Sativa Skywalker needs more recognition. I think once more people have it, it will never leave their garden.

Haven't changed much, the same if not a little tweaked on the nutrient profile, a little bit of timing change (as far as nutrients being provided) and more teas...
I feed really low but the girls love it so no need to super charge them.. If u saw how much nutrients I mix u would be like WTF.. Lol..

Ya beds are interesting, def get better yield than pots but taking a bit longer to dial the soil mix due to re-amending and using same soil each run. 43 is a beast, she just eats it and keeps on trucking. Blow out like a wifi, taste smell and smoke of an OG. And shoot would be nice being in cali, but this guy is a mountain man doing things in CO!

Ya I ran soil beds on the floor lined with shower curtains and 2x4's for 3 years re amended with lime, epsome starter plus and organicare bloom. Feed and watered with tea it was good.

Then I saw Jack in coco beds I couldnt help my self and went nutz after so much work rebuilding my rooms new this new that making everything professional I realized with pre veg the coco beds were not going to work for me. So I pulled all the coco out of the beds and moved to 2 gallon pots thanks to HeadCracker and now Im really happy....sorry off topic...continue with the porn folks sorry.

@Twisted- Lol no doubt i was pissed they were outta white pipe cleaners so I just jazzzzzed that shit up. ha! Ya I do miss running coco beds and once i figured out the organic coco side it woulda been nice to try the OG's in em...but oh well can't complain about nice soil nugs. Never know may have to give coco a go again at some point. This last batch of soil i mixed i did straight soil and plants are not near as happy as the soil/promix batches.
@JB for damn sure. Once i get my fave gals figured I'm gonna cheat and make s1s of em...make that later search easy on myself since they are just for me.

I've run organics in coco. I had magnesium deficiencies, I then added magnesium sulfate. Then I started getting Calcium deficiencies. I had to use Botanicare Cal/Mag with my organics for it to work. Im just giving you a heads up so you wont make the mistake I did.

I opted not to go with General Organics Cal/Mag. I have not used it but I hear people are having to use massive amounts of it and it gets expensive.

Organic coco with 25% perlite= super beast mode!

Agreed! b-care cal/mag fixed that for sure. If your in the mood to hulkify your mix try adding 25% lava rock 25% perlite to the coco. the perlite will move from the middle of the coco to the top while, the lava rock is a little heavier and allows your soil to aerate easier. side by side might show success! always like hearing if it would work for other people.

Shoot I smashed organic coco for almost a year before i went back to soil mixes. The key with feeding any base to a plant is only adding Cal. Bases have plenty of mag, having a good Cal source is all you need. By the time i finished with it BioBizz bloom, Calplex, and sea green were all they needed to make it...some hpk and kelp just topped em off. Really curious how they woulda been with added AACTs. Thats why I always have the itch! But hey thats what test tents are for...try out the same reg with new changes ive added...see how yield and quality are different vs soil mix.

Man she just consistently good smoke. Many have come and go but SFV is always some lemon candy flavored OG. I dont think shes the strongest OG but shes pleasant and tasty for sure. The HA this round did great too, im curious to see how the smoke compares- she def hung with the SFV in yield dept.

I tried running just Calplex. It didn't work for me. I had a severe magnesium deficiency. My base had 5% Calcium and 1.2% Magnesium.

I'm experimenting with my own Cal/Mag mix. 25lbs of Mag nitrate and 25lbs of Cal nitrate. Horiculture grade at a $1 a pound.

What works for me is a ratio of 3-4 parts Calcium and 1 part Magnesium. The Botanicare is pretty close to that and it works for me. My own mix, im still testing because it takes atleast 4 weeks to see if problems pop up.

Hmm interesting. Many years ago this guy named Growmaster told me this concept of adding only Cal because theres always plenty of mag- so switched to Calplex per his recommendation. Ran that in soil, coco, and back to soil. Every organic base, most synthetics, etc...never had a "calmag" problem again. Sadly they discontinued Calplex a year or so ago, but stocked up with a nice 5 gal...lol.

Whatever works for folks, but ive found most folks having any type of calmag issue are still trying to apply either calmag or a mag source to their regimen.
