My pleasure ! Testing the dry cards ..seem to work well ..they were meant for pollin and are working well as a disadent . Your experience with the Mh in bloom., whats your thoughts ? have u tried the before in bloom also? I am just not quite a week into the switch back to MH at the end . Thanks M

hell i flowered with mh all the way through for years - hps does yield better but mh seems to grow better quality herb

hps replicates fall light when earth tilts on its axis the atmosphere reflects more red spectrum light which tells the plants hey time to kick them flowers up a notch

mh has more ultraviolet light which grows tighter nodes (less stretch) and stimulates the plant to produce more resin to protect itself from the UV

I like to use mh in veg and 10-14 days into flower (maybe longer for stretchy gals) and then mh again the last 10-14 days when I am no longer feeding - at which time I will also change the timer to 11.5 on 12.5 off

mixing spectrum is nice but I am not a fan of those dual spectrum bulbs - less lumens - more initial cost and they dont seem to work as well as just alternating bulbs

how long you have left?

@215fly Please let me know how your seeds turn out Did u purchase at Emerald cup? Or right after I did online ? M
I got them online from New River. I found them through medicnaljane.com. The 2 out of 5 that broke soil are doing better with the MH bulb instead of the cfls. They also like the 80° , but I still think they vegging slower than I like.

These are the 2 G13/ Salmon Creek.

Thats what 's happening ..I am only 4 days into the MH switch for the finale..turned them at 7 weeks ..fiquire will run some 14 days a few sativas will need it if not longer ..checked them this morning and greasy so resin production has diffently pick up ..trich production also ...considering I know the widow so well .have never seen so much sugar goodness on her ..perhaps a few swishes in my cereal would sweeten it up ;) Thanks for the use of your awesome brain and experience ...I am using Sucanaut at the end ( sucanaut being purecane organic sugar ) ...have not fed for 2 weeks ( ends up 4 by harvest ) but getting some fade and color .. Do u flush? I am thinking not nessarary considering shes being fed sugar and water only for quite sometime ...M

U look like ur just a step away from using handcuffs and headboards to get those plants to do what u want dusa. :)Peace
LOL @rollon I never took the handcuffs off...got a new whip though ...works well to get what ya want ...:p M

I am thinking those look pretty good @215fly Dont give up they just need some love... I finally have some ready to take pollin and bloom when space... @JAWS is drooling over that salmon creek LOL ...

as i always do when any one speak of her or a decent hybrid with her in the mix, may be some day she will be more gettable to the masses who have interest in her.

peace:)

I try not to have to flush my medium (less is more when it cones to feeding) - feel it shocks plants if you just strip the root zone - instead I prefer to taper off feeding and then just use a ripener/finisher (liking aptus finaleboost atm) along with some sea green and molasses

so tell me about sucanaut - why use pure cane organic sugar as opposed to the ole standard molasses?

much thanks:);)

Agree ..i think it stresses them also the flushing ...besides its been obsorbed already.. When i first started growing have switched on and off from sucanaut to mollasses ... have tried alot of new hypes just going back to my roots where I had the best product....I believe u go with your gut feeling from the start its usually the best course to go... if memory serves me I believe Subcool uses sucanaut ...how I got introduced to it ... interesting u use sea green at end might be up for a experiment ..have stopped it too early I guess Thanks M
