Dr Mal Washer - Chairman of the Board
Dr Washer was a Liberal member of the Australian House of Representatives from 1998 to 2013. He was educated at the University of Western Australia, graduating in 1970 with degrees in medicine and surgery. He was a general practitioner before entering politics & established a number of prominent medical centres in Western Australia.
Mal was also past chair of the Alcohol and Other Drugs Council of Australia.

Troy's working working background includes commercial banking, fine jewellery manufacturing and business management in various fields.

Nevil Schoenmakers - Breeder

Colleen McCullough AO - Honorary Patron
Acclaimed Australian author, Colleen is a neuroscientist and established the department of neurophysiology at the Royal North Shore Hospital in Sydney, before settling into ten years of research and teaching on epilepsy and pain in the Department of Neurology at the Yale Medical School in the USA. In 1974 her first novel, Tim, was published in New York, followed by the best selling The Thorn Birds in 1977 and a string of successful novels, including the acclaimed Masters of Rome series.
Colleen is an advocate for the re-introduction of medicinal cannabinoids, having studied their use at Yale.
