It was before 2010. No priors felonies but I had guns and got caught with a fair amount of product.

Was always a big no no having guns in the house back then when growing. And you probally wouldn't have spent a day in jail if you didn't have the guns even with weight

Trinity county is still standing strong. I don't mind em banning all the other counties it just bulbs the price of my shit up. Prices are already up cus of the shasta, Tehama, and butte bans last year

I was a legal caregiver and the guns were a 1911 my grandpa gave me it was his medal after serving in the Korean war in a beautiful box I was gifted it at his funeral I also had a marlin 30/30 hunting rifle. My grow room was up to code had been inspected and had been built with permits with access by only a hidden door in my master bedroom closet. I did everything correct. But that first gun was found and and.......well....it was all .....FUCK YOU ON YHE FUCKING GROUND YOU CRIMINAL FUCK.......SHOW ME YOUR HANDS......WHERE ARE YOUR FUCKING HANDS. QUICK MASE THIS ASSHOLE SHOVE YOUR KNEE IN HIS BACK.....KICK HIS FUCKING DOG.....FREAK HIS YOUNG DAUGHTER OUT......CUFF HIS WHORE WIFE.....

Fuck this system, fuck these corrupt ass worthless fucking cops. Either legalize all plants everything poppies pot coca.....full legalization no fucking taxes no fucking permits till then -middle fingers in the air-

And yes that's how I really feel.....

Hmm sounds like you needed a lawyer. I'm with you though fuxk them and all there bullshit. They locked you up for plants but yet now that they are collecting a that tax money it's ok.

I actually had a great lawyer on retainer at the time. Like I said I went out of my way to do it right. But good people got tossed under the bus early in the green rush.

Obviously you were missing some permits, right? They probably didn't raid you (I'm assuming they had a warrant) based on the sole fact that you had firearms, but were otherwise compliant (just assuming).

Correct me if I am wrong, but the whole gun/grower thing has to do with using a firearm in commision of a crime, but if you are compliant, then there is no crime being commited, unless were talking federal, but why the fuck are the feds even interested in you? (Pay your damn taxes!) Or are you involved in something else that you shouldn't be? Didn't the feds get their funding pulled on that awhile ago?

But then again, I wouldn't want to be the one to set legal precedence on that in my state, lol.

Again, just speaking generally. This post is not directed specifically at you @Newenglander (although the previous post was).

On a side-note, I think the majority of bans will be amended soon or just go unenforced. It was just a knee-jerk reaction to the March 1st deadline. Most cities I have seen are just using that Leauge of Cities template and just inserting their city's name into it, basically.

Incorrect. It's called a knock and talk. At the beginning there was no technical permits I needed or license to acquire. My building out my room to spec was based on the knowledge I was passed by older heads who said I should prepare myself for the future regulations that would be put in place. You know what they needed back in 08' to come inside a fucking smell of weed outside or a tip from a neighbor.

Ya know what man honestly if ya weren't there you don't. A lot better people than myself were jailed right along side me for the same fucking thing.

I realize they probably told you that. I'm gonna have to respectfully disagree with you on that. If you let your neighbor into your growroom and they ratted you out, maybe. Definitely not the smell of weed or neighbors complaining about the smell of weed.

A knock and talk is just that, it doesn't allow them to enter your home unless they see/hear something that warrants a search or you give them permission (cops are professional liars and I realize they make it seem like you have not choice in the matter). Basically a knock and talk is what they do when they don't have a warrant and they are trying to get into your home. Your car and home are two very different places.

But then again, I don't know what state your in (I was assuming Colorado for some reason).

The fact is, if they have any legitimate grounds to search your home, they'll bring a warrant.

You guys, let them kick the door down if they really have a warrant or have grounds to search. Especially if it is your residence.

Cops can arrest you for damn near anything, but what happens in court is a completely different story.

Have a lawyer say RICO case and your pecker and bunghole tighten. You take what you can. Do your time and move on. This john Wayne bullshit attitude young growers have to the system is fuckin bunk.
