I havnt hand watered in a long time.....Res and drip to waste
you can also set of a recirc drip system in coco on a 4x4 flood table

I am actually gonna convert my box over to a 2x4 f&d system after these peppers are done

I am thinking about eliminating coco and just using hydroton and having a top feed recirc system.....I think the plants will grow huge

I know that I have been really impressed with how well the runt has done in the bucket which is really a mix between top feed and dwc. The runt really took off when the roots reached the water. Now I have a lot of roots in the water, and a few that look like DNA. Very cool looking. And the real test will be when me and you throw the photo in the bucket when the auto is done. The photo has started to grow again after the topping. It sure knocks them back a week when you top,,, actually seems longer. I need to check my records. And get this! That runt has the biggest main stem out of all them! Its huge! Big around as my thumb! I post some pics tonight as I am topping off the res and the nutes. I topped off the res night before last and got the nutes back to a 100% I am only letting 2 days go between top offs and I make sure the nutes are flying as close to a 100% as possible. I got to provide these girls what they need. I feel like I am right where I need to be ec wise.

Its hard to pick a system. Truth is, they all work prob about the same. Like you said, there is a lot of factors, starting with genetics. I think picking a system really depends on your requirements, or better said, your limitations, such as my vertical height issue. Honestly I wish I could have them all! I think I am gonna go with a system that is flood and drain, but just buckets instead of a table. And then I am gonna put air rings in the bottom of each bucket too. I like that extra punch of dwc with it. And Yes I will prob just use hydroton in the buckets.

what I am gonna do is pck as many square pots in as possible
grow to 12" and top down to 6" wait 1 week and then flipping
......

So @Wisher619 got a few leaves that look to be having some kind of issues. I post some pics here in a sec. Here is some numbers. 10 gal res, 500 ppm is 100%......

checked before top off=== 536/6.1
topped off 2 1/2 gal ro=== 430/6.3
re ph + add nutes(15%) 9/13.5/3====501/5.8

I have no problems with the bucket which here is the numbers for it...
2 1/2 gal res, 575 ppm is 100%
checked before top off ===420/6.3
topped off with 1 gal ro==340 ppm
re ph + add nutes(59%)===630/5.8

If you notice that in the bucket, i went above 575 to 630, is because when I first added to the res I counted it as 2 gal instead of 2.5 gal.... so 575 instead of 600. Then when I added I used the 2.5 gallon to times the .59% by which shot me up to 630 which I am kinda happy it did, I mean I didn't mess up the ratios like that did i?

Do you have a picture of what that would look like? Or a video of someone else doing that? I would like to see a grow.

yeah up the nutes to full strenght and pull those shitty leaves off....they really arent doing anything for your plant.....and in a few days will be brown and dried up

no there isnt

as for the new sog
I am only gonna be running a 2x4
so I think only 32 plants maybe
or half that and just space them out
gonna go light for the first run to get my legs.....then I will up the dose to full tray
