See i need the low profile because next summer its in the basement and i only got 71 inches to work with! my buckets are 16" tall. What is the width or height i should say of yours compared to the low profile? I know they are nice.. I seen them at the hydro shop. he wants 329 or something.... Ive seen them for 240 or so online a few times.. I was concerned about how heavy they would be on the tent. My enclosed hood and fan and filter ended up warping my 4x4 tent where it was more like a 3x3 cause it sucked in so bad... Thats one of the reasons i went with open hoods. Now im trying to decide on another vented hood like yours OR 2 air cooled tubes with ajust a wings and 2 of them light spreader diffuser we were talking about earlier that dude recommended.. Orca i think.. cant remember.. lol

The Super Spreader diffuser mounts very flush to the bulb and I know will work fine with the glass in to air cool the light with all sodium bulbs.
Ya @Orcaman mentioned it earlier..
Im almost positive its a 4" difference. The reg one is 9.5" and the low pro is 5.6" tall. My shop sold me the reg one for $175 and the low pro was $225. It is pretty heavy on my 4x4 tent but they're not that sturdy honestly. It's complete overkill with an 8" hurricane fan in my tent. On idle it looks like it wants to implode lmao. I got the 8" knowing I was going to up size to the new room

I think you made a perfect decision for yourself, upsizing room and all.. But for that size tent it is overkill and i know what your tent looks like,, i had one that looked just as bad i promise.. at the end it was borderline scary.. after reading about others having collapses..
which is why i have less than 20 pds hanging in my tent. I know im good!

I definitely appreciate the help with the nftg. I wanted mega morpheus but my shop doesn't carry much of the line. Im gonna see what the shop on my way to work has but for now at least I have something. I would like to use all of the same line since I know it was designed to work together.
I'm just learning this product line too. I'm using Amazon to purchase NFTG's products.:)

I really thinking about using this with their nutes.
Nectar for the Gods Soil is available nationwide!
We have finally released our soil to the national market and we are excited to introduce these blends to the entire Nectar Growing community.

soil-cutout-229x300.png
For the past nine years, we have been manufacturing our soils in very small batches and told ourselves that we are not a soil company but instead we are a nutrient manufacturer. Our small batch blends were kept secret and only offered to selected retailers in the pacific Northwest as well as a few passionate stores across the country.

Over the years, the elusive Nectar soil has become a preverbal Sasquatch of soil blends and growers and stores alike have been on the search. The issue was that we just could not produce enough to make it available outside of the stores who were actively carrying the mixes. Up until late July 2016, we were only capable of producing 12 pallets a day with the soil mixing system we had in place.

Over the past twelve months, we at Oregon’s Only have been developing a new piece of property and have acquired new equipment to allow us to increase our production line up to 20 times the volume as before.

With this new facility we are now in the position to be able to offer our Nectar soils to the nation. So as of October 2016, we are proud to announce that we are now wholesaling Nectar Soil through Sunlight Supply, National Garden Wholesale.

Expanding? Doesn’t that usually mean that the product will change due to the increase of volume being produced? As we were exploring our options to increase the production rates of our mediums, we faced the options to either increase mixing capacity, or bagging capabilities. Since we are a company that believes in quality over quantity we took the approach that we needed the capabilities to bag the soil faster.

As we designed our new system, we decided that our blends weren’t broken and we were a little nervous to try and scale up our recipes to make larger batches. So instead of buying a fancy continuous mixer, or 8-12 yard batch mixers, we opted for the exact same mixers that we built our recipes on. But instead of one 4 cubic yard mixer, we have expanded our production line to include four 4 yard mixers. With this capacity we are now able to produce over 200 pallets a day if we are really pushing it.

Do machines do it all now? Not really. There are still many facets of the manufacturing process that we are still doing by hand. We are still manually sifting our humus and castings. We are still washing our coir fiber with rain water (when available) and limestone. We still hand stack the pallets and measure out all of the nutrient packs all by hand. The expansion of the soil yard did entail the purchasing of a lot of equipment, but it also entailed employing 8 more people to run those machines. No one lost their jobs during the automation of this division.
Special thanks to these retailers for being the first to believe in and promote the Nectar soils.

Its funny you say that, I plan on doing both lol. I want to see what I can do with coco first but I've wanted do organic soil from the start

I'm really liking these guys at Oregon's Only. Scott Ostrander the VP and one of the founders is a really great person. Both times that I claimed the picture of the month prize here he handled the issue. Both times he was so flexible on his own part about what I wanted for the prize. I'm now nicely stocked!:)
I am also using a coco based soil. I really like this stuff for the price $14.00, and It's versatility. I've also used there pure coco with good results. I'm going to contact Oregon's Only to get more info on there soils.

Royal Gold Tupur pronounced (two-per), was designed with the idea feeding your plant as much and often as possible. It is a blank slate to create your own high performance feeding regimen. As a coco fiber based soilless medium, it requires high levels of calcium and magnesium to unlock its true potential. With an astounding balance of oxygen and water holding capacities, Tupur can be watered up to 1-6 times a day! This makes it an ideal choice for automated watering systems, especially drip (drain to waste or recirculating), Ebb and Flow. Even deep water culture, and aquaponics thrive in this unique and versatile blend. Yet it still excels in hand watered container gardens, with organic OR conventional feeding programs. This versatility has been key in Tupur quickly becoming a household name for cultivation experts and enthusiasts from coast to coast. Packaged in 2 cubic foot bags, yet priced to compete with 1.5 cubic foot bagged products, Tupur can give you that extra bang for your buck, in more ways than one! Are you getting Tupur?

Looks legit. So do you supplement with magnesium? I've been using about 1/2 tsp per gal of epsom. As far as nftg, I've only heard good things about Oregon's only. They sold me with their approach to things for sure

I'm currently not using any Mag suppliments. They are getting just what in in the nftg's food. I am using an interesting product that came with the nftg's prize. Its called SLF-100. It breaks down the unwanted salt build up from the plant waste. I use it every other feeding. So every 8 days.

I heard back from Oregon's Only about there soil.

So the most popular mix that seems to sell the most of is the #4 blend
Attached you will find the label that we are registering currently so right now the bags of Nectar soil are pretty generic and will simply just have a #4 on it identifying the mix.
There are a couple of things that are not on the label due to Californias labeling regulations, like the paramagnetic rock. On the label its called basalt, but our paramagnetic rock is something completely different. It add an energy field into the root zone allowing your plants to resinate from the earths energy even when the plant is in a container indoors.
We absolutely do not use any form of bark, wood, or forrest compost as fillers, we use just oregon rain water washed coir fiber, peat moss, Alaskan Humus and perlite and pumice. So there is no bark or wood cellulose for the microbes to breakdown or to rob the medium of nitrogen proteins.

In Colorado any retailer that buys from Sunlight Supply can now get the soil. And there is a store in Louisville that has been carrying the soil for about five years now, Victory Hydroponics. Victory sells everything we make, even stuff that is still in registrations and can not be purchased through the distributors yet. Great place to get good deals on Nectar and they ALWAYS have the soil and lots of it.
Hope this helps.

Sold....that's why I kept thinking #sunshine mix #4" when I was looking for their soil. Its just #4 mix. So if I understand correctly its a soiless medium? Sounds very similar to what I'm running now so that would be a nice transition for me.

I've heard some good things about tupur.

Ingredients:Coco fiber, aged forest materials, perlite, crushed basalt rock.

Seems solid. You know I like my coco! Although I prefer to keep it 100% but those extra's they included never hurt anyone.

@EventHorizan got me motivated to make some medibles with his canna eggs so I got my little bit of trim, my 2g's of bubba kush and rounded it out with some nugs from my new harvest. Ended up with 8 grams total in 2/3 cup of coconut oil. I decarbed it for the first time ever ( I've never decarbed making edibles before) I did a double boiler with a pot and a mason jar. I added a cup of water an let it mingle for about 2 1/2 hours. The temp of the oil stayed around 180° left it to chill overnight and dumped the water out.

That's a shot if the underside where all the trics are hanging out. (I looked with my new scope that @Moto put me on to. I wanted to take a bite out of it lol instead I just put a half a teaspoon into my espresso. Nice mellow buzz, I think a teaspoon would be the right dose. Tomorrow I plan on making some brownies with it.

That's pretty sweet. I may have to try out that dosage you did. I don't remember how much flowers I put in last time but I made the same thing and it ended up being FAR too strong hahahaha.
Same here haha, the last batch I made had me and a co worker looking like space cadets lol. I kept seeing one zip per lb of butter being recommended so this is pretty close to that.

How you liking that scope brother?? I love them personally and easy to scope your buds. :D Hope everything has been well your way friend. :)
