Some more Cookies n Cream porn. Day 57. Only a couple more days to go. Trics are about 30% cloudy. I’ll wait a couple more days. Might clip a bud early to get a taste of her.

It’s got a skunky musky almost Sensi Star like smell to it. I read starfighter is Alien Tahoe OG and Lemon Alien Dawg but it reminds me of Sensi Star by paradise in the musky skunky undertone terpene profile.

It also has a vanilla like scent to it as well which makes for an interesting combination.

Not sure where the cookies n cream name came from to be honest but it’s an interesting strain with lots of bag appeal.

Here’s my Jan 2019 Photo of the Month submission. Vote for it if you get a chance :)
Now you're just showing off. lol

So I'm snooping through your diary again and was looking at how you mix your soil with Canna Coco. After mixing it up, is what your doing still considered growing in soil? Is the frequency of your watering the same as in soil, or do you need to water everyday?

I was planning on potting into strictly FFOF soil, but I've been noticing people amend this with other products. So I've been thinking about trying what you mix up as long as it's similar to soil. I won't be able to water everyday. every three days or more is perfect for my schedule.

You still treat like you would soil. There’s enough soil in it that it remains similar it’s just not nearly as hot.

I’ve since started using BioBizz Light Mix in place of FFOF and not nearly as much coco. I could use the light mix straight but I kinda like the coco.

Might do a side by side and see which grows better.

I do like to add worm castings and bat guano to the mix when repotting for flowering. It gives them a nice little boost and adds in much needed phosphorus.

That's great to hear. I'll have to give it a shot. I really liked your clear cup idea. I looked today at the biggest seedling and I was surprised to see how quickly the roots grow. One little tiny root is already coming out of the bottom of the cup. It's pretty cool to see. I can even see some tiny root hairs. I'm trying to preplan my next approach now, so I'm ready when I need to transplant them into 1 gallon pots. I'm guessing in about a week or so.

Watch that bat guano, it can be really really hot. I got some of the expensive stuff my first year and it was still hot. I should have mixed with soil to cool first, or mixed in the winter to let it weather first. The best bat guano is ancient and it's best for bloom because of the low nitrogen. It's very expensive and becoming more rare.

If I see they've shot out roots from the bottom I up-plant immediately. Better safe than sorry. It's worked so far. Never had a rootbound plant.

Yeah I don’t mix in much and it’s mixed with the soil really well. Just a little added phosphorus to allow them to flourish early in flowering.

Don't get me wrong, I dig bat guano. Thought it put a pretty harsh burn on my plants until I saw what a real burn was from cheap salts. Now I think it's mild to moderate in comparison.
