I don't care for Epistar. I also prefer 2 smaller fixtures as opposed to one..Different plants, different heights and needs. Cree is quality and Epistar is junk.

Four of the exact same kingbrite 240’s as you. And yes they’ve begun to use better components on the ones purchased in the last two months. I will be buying more of these also. Amazing lights. My plants thrive under the spectrum I have 3k and 3.5k and they both produce amazing flowers

Thats true!! lol...But I got it from a friend for $100 and they honored the warranty anyhow.....Now thats a great warranty for a reputable BRAND. they MAKE their own boards and all...Thats one company that's not just assembling things from CHINA...The say made in USA they mean it!!

Kingbrite seems like a good one to me. Im looking at the strip light setups. About $450 for replacement to my hid. Well at least $900 got need 2 minimum. But may start with one amd compare.

I have seen pretty great results with those strips. But i probably still wont order from a china factory company.

I just got new ballasts this year for the hps anyway. Im likely good for 4 more years.
