This is a good one.
I saw that before and its impressive as fk. I love to go that route and if I had to start over I'd definitely get that equipment.

I still liked being there with a cup of coffee & smoke a joint at dawn waiting for enough sun to whack a ball. Longest days of the year were the best just the birds, morning dew, maybe a bit of mist over the lakes and a few early rising workers.
looks amazingThanks for sharing AA, beautiful pic!
Its gettin real now. Irrigation is hooked up and automated on twice per day feedings. They're sucking up about 6 gallons a day. I'll still do my weekly maintenance flush by hand with the wand though to see where each plant is at.View attachment 961291

What light are you using? and is that a photographers umbrella i see over it? Good way to distribute the light, i have a few i use for portraits but never thought to use one for distribution.![]()

Hope to see some pics soon on the additives, I know your a good grower so would be nice to hear your 2 cents on how it works out for ya!
Lol I'll snap a pic when I'm down in the Garden. I've been using the Great white and enzymes since the start, going to start FP this week before I flip as it also helps with periods of stress. Floralicious plus I used to use actually and it's really a pretty great biostimulant. Very low usage rates and I'll only use it sparingly once a week or so throughout flower.
The enzymes and Bennificial fungus and microbes is something that a friend recommended I use since I plan to keep these in 1 gallon pots. Small container, hydro-type gardening is fairly new to me. The trichoderma and bennies will keep the roots healthy and protected while the enzymes break down any dead root hairs and removes any excess salt buildup from the coco preventing lockouts and nutrient imbalances.
The important thing for me is that I'm not adding anything that doesnt have a defined and legitimate purpose.
Good morning guys, I have a new query about ppm readings and the amount they eat. This is my records for a KC39 and I see the over feed but the amount it ate and the following readings are good... ph swings but its stable as well now. There is a ratio of humic acid to seaweed extract that is supposed to facilitate what these products support. I will have to re search for the info but it was well documented in greenhouse nutrient info and such.
I was growing in ocean forest before and it is plenty ammended with organic inputs and doesnt really need any help in the biology department. But like your coco or I imagine the rockwool grows and now my promix hp only as a medium I have been considering this sort of additive. Well the myco is already in the pro mix. Of course PBP contains humic and seaweed already but i tend to feed light and am wondering if its enough without the organic soil ammendments.
I am also investigating nutricote and considering simply mixing it in with the pro mix and watering only. But thats another discussion.

I've not followed the ppm reading before and I just like clarification on what I'm seeing

5:2 SWE/Humic is considered Ideal in hydroponic applications, I remember that from growing tomatoes in school but in peat and coco I believe you need to take into acct some of the natural humates in the media. The FP is 20% kelp extract and 2% humic, Not sure why but I suspect it is because they want you to use diamond nectar as well.. Either way I've used this stuff on its own before and it does indeed do as advertised. But I'll consider adding a bit more humic acid to bump the ratio. I've got a giant bottle at work.
The other addatives are mostly just to keep the roots protected and healthy, and aid with nutrient mobilization and elimination of excess.View attachment 961897
Thanks yes I understand that but I don't know not how not to micromanage, I can't spend 4-5 hrs a day in my plant room without micro managing. You test and record ppm and ph to monitor trends and make adjustments from changes over time. Not to micromanage each watering. It is not accurate to a fault. And dont forget salts attract salts and the medium can hold on to them so they wont show in the runoff always. Plant health is still the main indicator.
Hope this helps.
Figured you would know that. :-)
The old pbp had far more humic but i guess you are right. They have liquid karma for humic and seaweed. Maybe thats the easiest way for me to add it.
First of all condolences regarding your dad☺ Thanks for sharing your pics....
iron needed is my suggestion
my opinion at first was Needed Epsons Salt, but scratch that,,, I think they need iron
Thanks yes I understand that but I don't know not how not to micromanage, I can't spend 4-5 hrs a day in my plant room without micro managing. The reading I'm most interested in is the 1206 after a large feed then a 397 on the following water, That's an 800 ppm drop in readings. Is that a good thing that the plant ate so much and to continue feeding same because it likes to eat? as you recommended I dropped the food and now reading is at 810ppm. My confusion is that if it ate 800ppm on the last feed it will obviously not eat 800 this feed why do I not want to keep feeding heavy at 4 weeks into flower?
