I did 4 plants in 2 gallon pots for my first grow and there was basically no room for my fan and heater so I'm leaning more towards either 1 or 2 plants.

what type of light are you using? Your light should have more then enough heat to keep the 2x2 warm. if anything you would want a little amazon fan in there
My last light was a 70w blurple that made absolutely no heat at all. My current light is the xs2000 and it also makes very little heat especially since when I need the heat, the light isn't at full intensity. I take out the heater during flower when it doesn't need it anymore.

try a scrog net training on a 2x2 👍
That's exactly what I'm doing.

got ya, inkbird does make it easy to control the temp.

There's about a 15 second delay on the temp which makes it significantly less effective in such a small space but it does an okay job at keeping it at a general temp.
that's why growsince95 was saying that's your problem i think, The compact area and having a heater in there, specially during flower time 😂 😂
i keep my heater outside of the tent with the tent door being open. Having a fan in there rotates the air in the tent while the heater keeps the room and the tent warm. this is during seedling stage.

I have it running in my tent now with a seedling and it's working better than usual. It's staying between 28-30c.

What I want to try is a sea of green in a 2 by 2 with nine 1 gallon pots. If it was just 2 foot tall donkey dicks it would easily be half a pound. 👍
Yup easily... i used to pull like 2.5 from a 4x4
What's wrong with a heater? I have it on an inkbird temp controller. It's just a small amazon basics heater:
To close to the plants in a small tent. Better to heat and condition the room the tent is in... especially in a small tent... right next to the heater tent ls will be to high.

Whenever I have the heater running, I always have a fan blowing directly at the heater to disperse the air.
I can't heat it from the outside, should I not be running it?

Nope your lil hack is perfect... fan pointed at the heater to disperse it faster... the concern would be it directly blowing plants... good thinking there.

Ya, at first I was worried the roots would get too hot when I was using a bigger pot so I started using the fan.

while on the topic of one gallon challenge, here is a update on my Gorilla Glue in soil

For now she'll be in the small cup until it is full of roots which then i will transplant into a bigger cup. I'm thinking three transplants in total while the last transplant is in the 1 gallon jug.
