Buddy, it's pretty clear you're one hell of a cook. To be honest though I'd really only eat the garnish for most of the stuff you're posting lol. Looks beautiful. But I just can't stomach eating critter creatures and brains and eyeballs and stuff like that. I don't enjoy eating the vast majority of animal products, just turns my stomach.

Me too. When I was younger I'd eat anything, I was at a fair one time and there was a fear factor challenge and I ate the huge flies, grasshoppers and what looked like a huge beetle. Haven't felt the need to eat them again though..

The prize for eating insects was some worms?!😂🤣.
I try all the weird food when travelling. Had the insect smorgasbord in Thailand. Including a fried tarantula. When in Rome right?

I could be open to trying other stuff, nothing with 8 legs or pincers, but I'd honestly be more concerned about gagging or worse, barfing, and the iron stomach locals all laughing and pointing at the drunk Canadian puking on his insect board..
Don't wanna bring shame on my country lol.

The funny thing is that I kinda know what did this to me. Gutted a deer with my buddy once high as hell on mushrooms, he had hit it with his car on the way over to my place and I had already eaten my shrooms. Folks around here accidentally hit deer with vehicles all the time, so it's usually just a normal thing.. have a couple beer, cut up a deer. And being a hunter people often brought me their deer to dress.

With me on shrooms though we knew the clock was ticking but we decided to go for it and by the time I was cutting buckys junk out I was losing my grip.. really saw the animal differently. Had a really difficult time with it. My buddy wasn't experienced with field dressing though so he wasn't much help
That fall I went hunting and had a buck in my sight, and couldn't pull the trigger. Went vegan the same day, as much as I hate that label. Stayed that way for about 3 years before adding back stuff like eggs and cheese. Only eat fish maybe once a year, same for bacon.

But hey that's a testament to how amazing those photos were @j1sonbrother, made me crave something that actually repulses me.. so seriously well done. Lol. It's not everyday I see pics of crustaceans and get a hankering.

Quick one DB. Can you please post a pic (when u have time) of the drainage/return setup for the slabs? I am thinking of doing a side by side of these w my UC setup to see if one performs better than the other. I have a 7x7 so will be going for 4 big girls in each half of the tent, one half UC, one half couple slabs, 2 plants in each slab. Cheers. KK

Money's on the UC but not by a lot. Kinda feeling like early on, the slabs but once roots hit the water I think it will shift.

Cool story db, about the deer and shrooms. I too went that way after psilocybin and LSD showed me how much enpathy i was able to feel and how strongly i experienced the viewpoint of the other.

After this i could no longer bring myself to justificate my need for flesh.

If I immigrate to BC one day that I will definitely invite Aqua. DB. Kanzeon and group of the thc farmers to try the most authentic typhoon shelter flavor crabs and lobsters.
kanzeon.if ya wanna some pigbrains ,just let me know.
I promise I won't tell ya what animals re in it until u guys eat it.

Haha I've butchered and cooked more whole pigs than I can remember. I've tried all of the pig parts. Brain can be tasty, so can balls (both are like sweetbreads), so's heart and tongue...

But if you want to bring me Asian snack food, we're in business!
