No I’m just having fun 🤣it’s my first autoflower, I used growers choice seeds and lost five out of six after germination. They’re a few years old and weren’t stored properly at all, but at least one pulled through.
Really? I’ve had 100% germ rate from growers choice autos so far. What strain is it (sorry if I missed it)

Northern lights auto lost two out of three, ak47 auto lost 3/3.

Hmm that’s odd, I have 3 candy kush, 2 Afghan kush, 1 gorilla glue (all fem autos) all germed and are growing now. I’ll have to see how the remaining seeds pop on the next run, haven’t tried popping a master OG auto yet saving that for the next run

What was your germ method? I did the cup of water for about 16 hours, half popped in the water, moved them to paper towels and put them in a gallon ziplock bag and blew the bag up and sealed it like a balloon and they all had 1/2”-3/4” taps within another 12 hours and went right to the soil all popped above soil within 24 hours

I've never inflated the bag they're in. Does that help in some way? I usually just wet them in the paper towel and put them in an empty of air bag. In the dark on a heat mat. 1 to 3 days.

I've never inflated a bag but my guess would be what Co2 we breathe out is helping the beans in some holy way. I just wet a paper towel and crimp the bag until 3/4 closed and put in drawer until popped, usually 3-5 days

originally state that they were old and they weren’t stored properly. It’s more than likely operator error. I soaked seeds in water for a day then use the paper towel method checking periodically until they sprout then transplant them to soil and or growing medium. This is the stage where I loose them. I think from now on I’ll employ the old fashioned technique of seed straight to soil no soak no paper towel.

I missed the soaking part, that's my operator's error, was reading and packing a bowl at the same time lol.
With older beans, I usually soak them in Nectar For The Gods Zeus Juice. I'm sure there are similar products that help with germinating older beans. Good old fashioned plant her and flantor then wait til she pops works just as good

Here's a little update on my little Afghani. She soaking up the sun very nicely along side 3 others in 5gal pots. Gave her a dose of Xtreme Mykos tea with Azos mixed in to help her Chevrolegs get a running start. Debating if I want to give her a House & Garden 8 week feed schedule or Nectar For The Gods Greek feed, got a come to a conclusion within the next few days

The cold tap water really frosts them nicely.
Do you use colder water during flower to mimic "autumn/winter" temps? I've heard of using cold water or putting ice around orchids to make them flower, does cold water influence the plant in anyway? That's a prime looking flower you got

Day 61 she’s been chugging along putting out hairs. I cut down the amount of fox farm grow big and started in with some tiger bloom to help support the flower growth. She’s drinking about 400 ml’s a day broken up into morning and evening feedings. If I feed her any more it just runs off. Definitely second guessing the use of the blurple light vs a full spectrum light. Might move her under another light in a week or two. Just starting to develop some trichomes for a few days I was scared that she’d be a frostless variety.

Looks suspiciously like some species of nettle with the stabby hairs lol... if you touch it and get an itchy stingy spot... it's a nettle of the stinging variety lol.
This is what I'm hearing from everywhere. It's settled. It's nettle. I'm gonna let it grow anyway. If it wants to make me itchy and numb, come at me.

Down to business though. I've been thinking about the height difference I'm going to encounter. Bruce is going to want to be much taller than domina. So I've released all training on the domina so it can get taller than bruce during veg. Hopefully they come close to evening out during flower. I'll still have to weave and adjust pot heights but I think it'll be easier this way.

No pictures today. Just wanted to hear myself type
