Would you pay $10 for one tomato or pepper seed? I have plenty to sell.
I paid between $3 and $5 a pack for a bunch of vegetables of late. 😜 I thought that was unreasonable.

be nice to have a "draft" beer with you -- remember when draft beer was 25 cents a draft !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! pitcher was $1.00
I used to get the small pitcher of beer for $1.25 in the military; and they used to make this thing they called a Long Island; vodka, gin, rum, tequila, Triple Sec, and lemon juice in a quart sized glass. Mmm.... fruity; a sort of woman's drink that would knock you over.

You drank two of those; and you were finished for the night; I think they were $2 or $2.50 each. My head hurts just thinking about it. Navy exchange bars; crazy cheap. When I started smoking cigs; they were $0.48 a pack in 1975; and they even sold them to 8 year old's back then.

The good ol days... (except they wasn't always good) Capitalism in action.

It's been done once that im aware of. It took 5 years and like 25 bx on each side plus the hunts to make an Uber stable f1. It would cost more like 6 figures to create.

Drift only happens with those that dont know what they are doing or wont invest in the necessary training and equipment.
We do something called tissue culture for our moms. Which means we take the cut, verify it ourselves then put it into culture. What that is doing is basically reseting the genetic. It is also as clean an example as you'll ever be able to create. Literally 99.99999% clean. So every 120 days our moms are replaced. So losing the genetic won't happen when you have dozens of gresh exact genetic duplicates. We also clean hlvd with this process as well.

Actually you can bx with a different father. Problem is your going to need to do a lot of early work to start to bx the kids to the mom. So your right it's not the same exact BUT you can make it literally the same if you put in the work. No one seems to know this nowadays but a lot of the old school stuff used to have huge hermie problems and nunerous other issues. They bred it out and kept doing it until they had what they wanted. It's the same today as then if you have the desire most things are possible. You just had to do it then whereas now you just buy something else

Exactly. They can "ask" whatever they want, doesn't mean they get it.
Value is perceived. As such that value is subjective differing from person to person.
To belittle or ridicule someone else's opinion of a things value is obtuse.
Be it pokemon cards, star wars dolls, legos, or seeds

There was another underground grower back many years ago when it was very illegal, his name was Hans,he did sea of green,I think I still have a copy of it.
They really screwed Kog, but he was a resilient guy. A simple man asking a buck a seed, and his plants were something else!
Hans? I'll have to see if I can find anything, as I don't remember?. I'm going back a while now.
Heath Robinson is/was an incredible grower/engineer. His yields, and his designs were incredible. There's only 1, or 2 videos I've found the last time I looked, and like Kog's videos, they were reposted by someone else. I don't know why so many of the old videos were pulled?

You're making me feel pretty old ,I watched KOG's video many moons ago. Hans did sea of green the perpetual harvest, it wasn't very fancy. I think he did it in an abandoned trailer or something but he went through cloning and immediate flowering for no waste. And yes to Heath,I remember reading his posts .

Nah, nothing on "Hans" do you have a link? Last name, who he represented, strains, anything at all?

I appreciate you following up. So many great videos seemed to have been taken down.
No problem ,I appreciate the KOG video, thx. Notice how he had the strain dialed in? No domes for cloning,no trimming the slips,no special procedures,no babying, just cut them off with a pocket knife, pull off any loose leaf at the soil line and stick em in. The line was so healthy it rooted in the heat and no worry about pheno hunt. The way it should be. It's cool he could get some extra income, now big business is taking the cottage industry by pseudo legalizing and ruining the weed at the same time at their dispensaries, plus they doubled the penalties and no auto pardons,in Canada at least.
