LED makes you really look at all the other variables more closely, i found anyway.lo Its like driving a stick shift sports car when you're used to a Ford Taurus compared to HID. It can go wrong a lot easier, but can also outperform in the hands of an experienced driver.

Good chance mine are too. The buds labeled "LED" in my stash are actually half 50/50 LED/HPS grown, and half pure LED. More research needs to be done. I do think the plants that got both did the best.

Probably better penetration or infrared or both

the debate about weight really isn't the issue any long, if you look around at the micro grows and commercial guys, there really pulling about the same, 70g a sq ft on the lower side and 100+ g on the higher sq ft for a 4x4 area thats 2.5 to 3.5 + lbs per 4x4, thats HPS or LED, the issue is do you spend 40k for HPS or 130K for LED, and its really no different for the small guy, 1500- 2 k for a light for a few hundred, once or if the price lowers on LED's I think its a no drainer,

Actually around 3lb a light is not as uncommon anymore in commercial grows

Yeah the commercial SOG most in RW with Co2 and big yielders.

Many have strains they know well and dialed right in with nutrients, PGRs and environment using some crop steering.

A lot of them grow garbage weed. The odd one does ok, and then they irradiate it to make it pass testing. But the legal market as saturated as it is, is doing OK. Only because most consumers are happy with garbage weed. It's weird.

Just wondering. The store weed here is shit too. I'd love to be able to profit doing what I love to do. But I just don't see it working in this environment.

Edibles and extracts seem to be holding well up here. Where i moved from was still a bill an oz. But out here its dirt cheap for flower. Govt wised up giving deals on oz. now but when they first launched you paid by the gram no matter how much and prices were ridiculous.

Quality sucks for the most part and i only feel its going to get worse with the margins on these prices. Right now its a outlive the other guys kinda deal. If you have really good genetics and smaller more quality oriented you can still make a buck but hoping these huge corporations tank and becomes more of a craft market

Yeah I know how that feels. I'm not growing anything today, but will be by the end of the weekend. I blame Aqua Man. He flipped my desk over with his hair brained schemes. Of course I was only too willing to play the part :)

I used to think this and had hope in people. Until I saw my friends that have been smoking with me since I was 18 flock to the dispensary garbage and happily eat it up. A few of them are getting wise when they see what love & care can produce but for the most part they are content with going to a store to purchase absolute garbage in a bag.

It's only going to get worse for dispensary quality flower - concentrates are 90% of the market they don't give 2 shits about flower.
