While it’s on my mind.. I got two new veg lights for Christmas. They are fantastic! Spider Farmer SF600. My fav thing about them at this point is being able to drop them within 4-6” of my seedlings. Allows me to control the height vs. the light space required having control of that. Lightweight about three and some change pounds per light. Around eight inches wide by four feet long. Runs nice and cool. Covers a two by four area.
I have a small area that I pop my seeds, clone and veg my plants. This has helped me greatly. I would not recommend it as a bloom light tho.
Hey, I have 1 of those sf600, I'm not using it as intended, I'm using it on the outer edges of 2 se3000 to give just a bit more light coverage . I'm getting 50,000 lux out of it about 12" away and I'm on my second run using it there. The buds on my last grow under it flowered like the rest of the plant so its done what I wanted, I like the light.

Call of Duty when I was 60 - 65 disabled and in a chair all day I was a COD junky. At the time playing Ghost I had the best equipment I could get with a great head set and Elite controller I was a force to be reckoned with ...lol.... I specialized in Free for all......me against the world....lol Xbox one

Wow I have grand children close to your age, I find that a cute age for kids before they've grown jaded & disillusioned with the world...still with chubby cheeks and pouty lips......so cute 🤣🤣
Listen, I'm 37 and have been jaded and disillusioned with the world for quite some time now. 🤣 9/11, Afghanistan, Iraq, the collapse of true democracy, new age race wars, Environmental destruction, late stage capitalism, an economy that makes success extremely difficult if not impossible, the rise of "wokeness" where everyone is somehow constantly offended, technology taking over the world and killing human connection, and the newest addition, a global pandemic. Anyone that's not jaded currently is either in denial or on some good drugs... or is part of the 1% that stomps on the rest of us poor fucks. This is why we smoke lots of weed man.

I'm in the midst of a bar light setup search to replace/upgrade the COB lights I have. I really want to try and getas much light at the edges as possible so I may go with a narrower setup and supplement with some additional side bars.

I just started another grow so since I have the COBs I was thinking of hanging them at an angle so that you get a cross sweep of light and more at the edges. Hopefully it will minimize the hotspots these COBs tend to have. My goal is to be able to completely fill a 5 x 5 screen so I'd like lots of light energy at the edges so that everything is getting the same amount of light or close to it.

The new bar setups are insane this light is giving my 4x4 900PPFD at 12” in the center and 650 at the edges of the 4x4 at 12”… best part, it’s at 35% power 😂

Claims to have power to flower a 5x5-6x6 according to the booklet specs

Nice Light! I was looking at a few lights and I really like the Gavita 1700e but it's pricey. If I go ready made I was looking at the Spider Farmer SE7000.

What I'd really like to do is find a bar setup that I can hang 2 of in case one dies I at least have some lighting to get me through until I get another light in there. I'm thinking 600w fixtures running at around 50% - 60% to preserve the life of the LED's rather than running at full blast all the time.

Correct, same theory I have, the 8x8 is the FC-E8000 in the 8x4 tent that I run at 70% to get 860PPFD across the whole 4x8 by altering it like @steamroller did and then the Phlizon FD6500 in the 4x4 currently running at 35% like I said above, very respectable PPFD for 35% on a $399 light lol, considering it replaced 2x KingLED 1500’s that whahere using 280w from the wall each to running a 640w light at 35% so call it 220w total to active even coverage across the full canopy +300PPFD on top of it can’t be beat lol

I’d rather run the lights at 50% power and active better results and save money on electric at the same time 😁

The SE7000 is a great light as well but would be way overkill for my 4x4 lol, but I know @Aqua Man runs one in his tent / room

I love watching your grows! Never know what you might see! 🥰

@PerfecTrader @PipeCarver I put up a post #900 where I tried to explain how I use it. Sometimes pics are easier.

Fan leaf with petiole goes in the garlic press:

82B5C438 E96E 4CB8 9242 6B6BB4EFE7DE

Pressing makes sap:

FA88924A 3E18 4ED3 AA8F 71082F91673A

Sap goes on clean glass:

B799257A 99B8 4408 A5E4 9CCF18F31AD6

Close the lid and make sure you have full coverage of the glass. If you don't squeeze harder.

7B85B06A 941E 437F 8386 211E9BBDC1C7

Look thru the meter. You should see white on the bottom, and blue on the top if your meter is like mine. Look at the number where the color changes. Thats brix for that leaf.
