this whole debate can easily be finalized by having whoever is about to harvest at least 2 of the same pheno doing one with a flush and one that hasn't - how is this not easily documented considering it's been a hot debate topic for years is mind boggling. it's always someone "i do it this way not the other" but nothing about people doing side by sides.

i mean it almost makes me want to take one of my 3 runtz and do it differnt than the others - it's worth it to me to make sure going forward i have somewhat an idea if my efforts are pointless or not - i think that would be a common feeling among most of us here that are using data from other sources.

Absolutely not.

There's a huge difference between flushing rockwool, cocos or soil. That's different due to the latent nutes still remaining in the pots due to the cation- and anion exchange capacity holding onto nutes, or dry long-time fertilizer that simply cannot be flushed out.

sounds like what excel spreadsheets were made for 🤓 - the thought of logging all those side by sides and variants with mediums and nute differences while testing that would be a god damn fantastic read - wouldn't you agree on that?

but i do believe that if something provides significant benefit that it should be easily replicatable across a variety of methods

That statement of scientific evidence unless it is longer than 30 years of empirical data that I have collected being a grower of my mason jars stored of properly flushed, dried, cured medical grade cannabis retains flavor terpene profile and smoothness in a dried flower vaporizer and evident in the jar a year later. Not flushed does not remotely compare.
So I'm assuming you have perfect conditions and ran nothing but healthy clones side by side for years to surmise this?

Dr. Bruce Bugby has met those conditions and has not surmised but rather scientifically documented different findings.

Shit with this conversation I should just jump in and say I think with zero evidence and a half ass plant environment I can confidently say VPD is a hoax from big mold! Don't fall for it people. PPFD! Are you kidding me! What a joke, big electrical got you fuckers good. I use one night light per 5x5 and I grow the darkest weed you'll never see, FACTS. I flush for 25 weeks and my ash burns clear, fuck cops can't even see or smell my weed it like it's invisible to them. Such a head high. Matter if fact I think the high is all in my head.

Well i think it's been settled folks. It takes big money to do proper scientific testing of this plant we love, something I have herd bitched about from the grow community for 30 fucking years because the government has blocked any real research and now that we are getting it, can't trust it because it's backed by big money🤣🤣🤣 fucking unreal. Clown world folks sit down and let these chicks with dicks tell your kiddies a story🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

I am not on board with his push for synthetic products. After listening to that I am done with him personally 😌 this has nothing to do with his light studies.

No he doesn't, he promotes precision feeding in any form to prevent phosphorus runoff mainly, from getting into our water supplies and over time killing good soil. But hey fuck facts right. tell me what brand of synthetic is he pushing and what money is he getting from that company or are you trying to discredit valid information based off of your personal feelings on synthetic nutes? Pretty clear it's the latter and you don't really pay much attention to the actual information given.

I mean shit very specifically in his interviews with Mr grow it and his lectures he states that he thinks the best method to precision feed on a large scale and not runoff acids for fucking ever everywhere like we have forever is to use soil testing, organic and synthetic inputs. He's not pushing anything but precision whether it be lights, grow environment or feeding. So yeah what else you got for me mr fake news. You would think an organics fanatic would appreciate his approach to helping the environment. But like I said it's clown world bitches opinions are just as good as facts these days.

Right? My GF loves to dump a ton of stuff in her coffee. I take my coffee black. She always asks me why I don't add milk or something.

I drink coffee because I want to taste coffee, not milk. If I wanted to taste milk, then I would drink milk.
Whenever I'm in an espresso house that's new to me, I look up at the syrups, confused, and ask which one gives it the coffee flavor. Usually they know it's a joke, but once the kid explained to me that the coffee flavor is from the coffee beans. So I maintained the confused look and said, "Oh."

We both walked away, thinking the other was an idiot.

Nope I heard clearly what he said and ment I multiple interviews. Like I said I personally don't like him or believe he is not guiding people wrong 🤷 it doesn't take alot for me to form a opinion it's up to him to change it.

BTW it occurs occassionally that scientists become manufacturer of precision instruments. They usually do this because they get asked for these or know the market has that "hole". I doubt he makes alot of money with it. He's a Prof, so he already earns alot of money.

For example, here's another one, this cutout is from the book "Cannabis sativa L. -Botany and Biotechnology"
