I think the stated penalty for up to a certain number of plants is literally no penalty. I don't think a single person will be punished for it. You'd have to be doing something else wrong or growing a heck of a lot.

Yeah i know someone who got caught in 2021 when they made it legal to have, all the cops did was rip his 6 plants, he didnt even get an appearance ticket.

Well yeah, they just expunged decades of charges... they gonna make new charges for growing so they can expunge those in a few months too? Not likely.... unless you've got a forest, I think they genuinely don't care.

100% thats a suggestion, just like corner speed signs, you can double them and subract 10 and still make it around the turn

Ihardly drive speed limits, and have yet to get a speeding ticket. 10 years driving and i have had 2. Unlawful possession and tinted windows, yeah fk NYS. Beautiful state but everything else sucks.

Depends on where and of course what the speed is. I cruise control it at 73 on a 65 highway. Somewhere close to 80 you can get snagged, and over 80 it's a matter of time. But driving is a very dangerous thing. I'm looking forward to the Amtrak line running up and down NY.....they say the Spring..

I too speed on a regular basis and have a spotless driving record lol... been pulled over a few times but talked my way out of a ticket... once I was in a bikini so that might have helped That won't help me now though, my mom boobs don't have the same effect as my 20 something boobs did.

I don't drive like a crazy person anymore for the most part, though I just got a fix driving my pops 40 miles to the ER at approximately 90 with my hazards on (he's ok now) He was like "you're gonna get pulled over and it's gonna end up taking longer" I said "it's cute that you think I'd stop before reaching the hospital... they can follow me there to give me a ticket once you're inside." Freaking dying with chest pain but he still had the energy to be a backseat driver.

I don't want to get into bragging about driving......... but ..........I've driven over a million miles in through and around 30 states 22 countries and all 10 Canadian provinces...I've had a few speeding tickets commuting when I was younger and a few fender benders none what I would consider my fault...insurance companies differed. I drive with the flow or in gaps in traffic.& .I'm not beyond passing a line of cars to get around incompetent drivers....I still have fun driving and put my tires to the test around some favorite on ramps to my wife's chagrin.

You want to have some real fun driving? Try Mexican cities or the Dominican Republic...wow that was fun...edit I should add L.A, Washington DC & NYC to that list of fun / nightmare drives

Expunging records and giving business licensing priority to people convicted in the past is a good thing.

That’s exactly what they are doing here in Mo. In order to be considered for one of the new micro grow licenses the application asks if you or a close family member has done time for any kind of a cannabis charge. It says these ppl will get first dibs at it!
First round of licensing I didn’t have a quarter of a million to lose (cost of the app, knowing even if you were not chosen, you did not get your money back) and this round I am knocked out of for owning too much and no arrest records! Somehow, it just does not seem right!

I just did the best defensive driving of my life the other day... I wasn't speeding, but I was stoned and eating a taco... also had been neglecting putting air in my tires even though my car has been telling me to for a week caught a patch of ice going around a 90 degree downhill turn and got launched almost sideways towards the guardrail where I would have smashed my whole front end... dropped the taco, my little stoner brain was screaming "TURN INTO THE SLIDE" so I did, of course then I'm sideways in the other direction heading towards the other guardrail... "TURN INTO THE SLIDE, BUT LESS!" Finally got down the hill, off the ice patch and heading in the right direction. It must have been a ridiculous sight. Then the guy behind me is careening towards me so I run a stop sign to not get rear ended. Luckily no coppers on the back roads lol... so moral of the story, don't get stoned and eat tacos while driving in the snow on slightly deflated tires. Just glad my traction control was off because that shit probably wouldn't have allowed that ridiculous maneuver and my car would be smashed.

I had a few close ones in my lifted keep YJ. Only had 31’s or 33’s but I could go anywhere. However one is not bulletproof in a 4x4. Learned the hard way not to off-road on my own back in the 80’s.

Each winter after a new snow we all would go to the mall parking area and whip across before yanking the wheel and trying to correct. Had a blast. Some times the cops would chase us off, sometimes they’d join for a while, then chase us off.

More than once I had to ride a motorcycle home in a snow storm. And hail sucks!

Thats funny, glad your pops is okay now. Had something kinda similar happen. I got a call from my grandma at 530am saying my grandfather collapsed in the hallway and couldnt get up. I live 15 minutes away and made it in less than 9 minutes. Well over 100, stupid as hell yes, but that man has done so much for me i had to be there if something happened. Thankfully hes still alive and very well.

Any kind of precipitation feels like needles to the face on a motorcycle lol... I once had a bee go under my glasses and the stinger got lodged in my eyeball... now that's an experience they should adopt for torturing POWs... fuck that was rough. Instant gush of tears and blindness... thank God I was the passenger. MY biker days are long gone, that was another life it seems... again, boring mom lol. Pops keeps wanting me to go for a ride on the Harley w him and my boring mom self just keeps thinking how easy it is to die on a bike.

It’s treacherous driving here on a good day. No shoulder and deep ravines on both sides. Travel is on an emergency basis on bad weather days. Longest I have been stuck back here was 23 days. I’m okay with that

I know plenty of people that have had that happen even back when it was illegal, really just depends the cop and thier beliefs about weed and thier desire to do a pile of paperwork for an unlicensed cultivation ticket that will either get dropped or be a small fine. Most cops don't want to fuck with people that are just growing for personal use I feel, but since they ARE cops and it IS illegal, they can't just ignore it.
