I'm sure that most of the other informed grower on this thread have come to the same conclusion. It ain't the UC, it's the QB.

Maybe its because I have tried what they are suggesting already you ever think of that one? You got a lot of room to play around when you got 2 different uc's going and one of them for 1+ years... You know how many crops I have tore down in the uc so far lol... Im a veteran son... You just dont know any better... Like i said when I figure out whats wrong ill let you know you can thank me later :yes

The last run I used tap water, full strength nutes plus, a little calmag..... and it blew away the ebb and gro.... My plants were very healthy... I had a little calmag deficiency and I had way too much light blasting so the top fan leaves were pale in color.... But once I got the nute strength right I only had lush green growth... I can post picks of some pineapple chunk I am about ready to chop.. it is pretty perfect... But then again the top colas are slightly bleached from the lighting.... All I can say is don't give up... I almost did and am glad I didn't.... I am actually excited to run the strains again I did the first few rounds and see what they can really do... Take care and keep up the good work QB!

I was also experiencing those dull leaves you speak on under the light... No matter what anybody says that shit is not normal. I found that goes away with a little bit harder feeding and some epsom salts. As far as the tap water goes thats one thing that has been suggested by rob is to run a half and half tap/ro which i have yet to do. I think im gonna try that in my next run in the big uc. What was your recipe you used? Thanks btw!

i had the best runs in my uc bypassing the ro filter on my unit and just using the carbon and sediment filters

Really? Thats interesting... And easy i might have to try that... That would pretty much make it like rob was saying too.

Ok so I have come up on an interesting find... I'm reading the back of the botanicare calmag bottle and even though I have read it before I just now noticed something in the iron fallout warning... iron falls out fast due to magnetic driven pumps with out grounding probes installed... I was like whoa wait a sec wtf is a grounding probe? So I go look it up... they go in pet stores for like $5-10. If it is the mag drive knocking out the iron im taking it that this grounding probe would solve that problem? The grounding probe is new to me im not into fish and aquariums but that mag drive pump is one of the suspects in this problem here... Seems like a cheap and easy fix if thats what it is... Im gonna go pick some up tomorrow for both rooms and see what happens... anybody familiar with these? should I just place it in the control bucket? (I don't see where else it could go anyway)... opinions?

I would not worry about those important details, just ignore them and blame the UC design instead.....seems to be what works best for you anyhow.

I think you should go back and read your first post, I know myself and anyone else with comprehensive reading skills would interpret that as a person bashing a design and not looking for answers.

I just re-read the first page it clearly looks like I was pointing out differences in the 2 rdwc systems to me and why one works better then the other.

As far as user error goes I would say after some years of growing out magazine quality plants in almost every system and rdwc in particular for the last 3 with next to no problems at all I would say based on years of hands on experience that the uc is the only system that has yet to produce perfection that the others put out.

As far as all these other users you speak of that are having such great grows I have been looking pretty hard to find one and have yet to see one that matches the luster and health of journaled rdwc grows by these same people. I also remember when the uc first came out the expert growers on this site who are pretty much certified experts by all means having so many problems with this system that they sold it after the first run or two. I also remember being one of the people who has stood by the uc from day 1. I also have 450+ posts and 3 full uc journals to stand behind that claim so for you to say im bashing the uc just shows how much of a retard you are. Also your basing peoples success on shit your reading on here. After you have been doing this a while you start to learn that the pics you see people post are probably their best 5 shots of the 30 they took. People are putting their best shots forward, and cameras lie especially when they are back a couple feet. When you got everybody on here trying to look like jorge cerventes people are not just gonna come out and say their grow is looking fucked up unless its so noticable that they almost have to. I however have learned how to study these pics closely to see whats really going on and Ill tell you right now people arent doing as good as you think with this system. Want proof? Go look at peoples journals and look at their whole veg period you probably wont have to go further then that in almost anybodys. Just cuz plants grow bushy and fast dont mean they are all the way right. Most of their plants look like they got down syndrome for the first week or 2.

As far as my ego goes this has nothing to do with this. People are suggesting shit I already tried over the last year or so including suggestions from daniel the creator and rob the guy whos whole life revolves around plant nutrients. Sorry I as well as others already tried the suggestion and it didnt work. I guess im on an ego trip cuz I said something about the suggestion not fixing the problem. Once again when you can take a nutrient and a grower that does great in everything besides the uc then the problem is not the nutrient the problem is something in the uc. And im talking about more then just me and my hg.... Im talking about expert growers on this very site with other nutes as well.

The real reality of this whole situation is this... Something is wrong, theres more then just qb and rob saying this, people have been saying this since the uc came out. You for some reason keep coming back to this thread and all your doing is talking shit and pretty much insulting me, a guy you wish you could be (rob) and the other folks on here that know better and also realize something aint right and that it could be better. So once again if your gonna continue to post here in this thread please put up something to back up these success claims. Show me something. Post your nutrient recipe or something. Share with us what works... Ill be holding my breath till im blue in the face waiting for that one lol. Just bookmark this page so once you finally get a uc and start having problems with it you will have a good refrence on how to fix whats wrong by the time you get one of these we should have it figured out for you. Once you see those yellow leaf tips on that new growth that goes away after the leaf is a day or so old thats sign #1 your fucked. Yes all you fuckers have them too everybody has them in the uc but guess what thats not normal! I have grown so many dwc/rdwc grows that didnt have a single yellow leaf tip its not even funny! And regarding your last ametuer noob post on here yes it is possible to grow a plant with zero flaws... Ive had plants you couldnt find a single fuck up on if i was to give you a $100 if you found one! Not a burnt tip not a rust spot not a purple leaf stem nothing! Go troll someone elses thread for a while... Real Uc growers are trying to address a real problem in this one.

Lol i am gonna use retarded and down syndrome whenever it deems necessary and the post above my last one is definitely one of those. And you dont never have to take me seriously. If you dont have anything to contribute to this thread then your opinion of me really doesnt matter anyways...I would like to see your uc plants and your nute recipe as well. I dont believe you either... Just like hydro rocks your both picless wonders lol. Both of you are nobodys that keep barking with no bite. Honestly unless your name is medmaneast or ucmenow (the 2 people who have disputed me with actual pics of their own personal grow to back up their opinion) then the bullshit your saying means absolutely nothing. Thank you st3ve! Bro I cant even tell you how many posts i have read over in general on here where i could have said something dumb. I never once stepped into anyones thread disrepectfully on here ever! If i didnt have anything nice to say or suggest i just kept my mouth shut and moved on... These guys are either cc employees or noobs flat out.

I honestly dont think so either st3ve. Your opinion is your opinion everybody has their own. Just cuz my opinion is different doesnt mean act like a dildo all on my thread. People might think im crazy or a bum at growing or whatever but thats no reason to flat out attack. Im not worried about these fools though people hated on jesus too. People love him today though. Just like how these guys hate me right now. If i find out there really was a problem with some standard uc equipment and how to fix it they will love me too down the road. :)
