thanx man! anybody could grow like this, just need the essential items, and you're good to go!!i follow a basic rule of growing, and rarely stray, this system seems to be very reliable, as long as i keep everything clean

I will be strongly lolly-popping this strain, and won't be growing it as large, i don't have enough veg time, so the plant will be more manageable and be able to breathe better with more room and circulation, and having my nutrients pushed to my growing tips by lollypopping, should improve my canopy level, i'm watching this strain growing elsewhere, so i'm learning first hand what needs to be done.

My last grow i was a bit lazy with under the canopy and ended up with alot of popcorn, needless to say, turned it into hash, soo no loss there, i got over an oz in hash now, and plenty of oil, so all i'm after is some more quality herb, this strain cost me $200 and i've never paid for a clone in my life. i was very serious about buying this, and have been searching for a suitable clone for my growing area, something that is ore to my liking, the last 3 grows have all been a learning experience, and to build enough smoke to last. i have accomplished this easily now, and will put all my time and care into this new JACK X the quality i have seen from this erb, is completely out of this world, i have yet to see a strain like it, i have searched all over the net at skunk x's and jack x's and found nothing that resembles what i'm seeing grow.
I will cut for clones and top at around week 4, just before maybe, as i think i'll be looking at around 8-9 weeks flowering, maybe less, it could be a fast finisher, i'm yet to see.
The plants vigor could look a little better at this point, i'm thinking strain related, not environment, health is great..

So overall less larf and more top colas. I'm not sure that this will cause your overall yield to suffer. I'm subbed for the show!

yeah mate, i have noticed an improvement from doing it my first grow. yield will be a minimal difference i would say based on my experience. i don't count my popcorn in my total weigh in, it goes straight into hash/oil, i only keep buds that would be worth showing people if you know what i mean.
I have already snipped some lower nodes off, to help get these main branches nice and strong, less spindly growth trying to find light. i'm trying to maintain a perfect structure, with minimal small branching this grow, a small amount of experimenting...

I found that my best girls happened when I did the mainstem early like you did into four meristems, then each of those into two, and then two more. That's 16, then you can go one more for 32 bud sites. That way, each bud site had an equal path with equal branches off the mainstem, and the things blew up! Of course everything was lollipopped and trimmed off except those sites, and they were- in my old setup- tied down to even height, in your case SCRoG would be the ticket. Even in little soil 5 gallon pails and miracle grow, each bud would be up to a half zip apiece...

that's what i like to hear! i won't be topping quite that many times, in about 1.5 weeks time, i will take some clones, and do some snipity snip, my net will be going in shortly, she is growing fast, and starting to really bush out now, i can let her go for it

Thanx Guys, I'll do an update tonight, the cyco XL (super phosphoric acid) is going in today, i just had to wait to get some new batteries for the ph meter, it drops it down to around 4, so i needn't risk doing that with out a ph pen ;) The XL will literally double my plants size in around 1 week, giving me enough new top shoots for me to play with, it's already looking very promising, and very healthy, so no problems there, i'll post some pics tonight, i have leveled her out with a little minor LST, i wouldn't normally, but she has 1 real high top, and the rest are a little low, but all good now, just had to get her going in the direction i need, beautiful vigor on her, and thick defined 5 bladed fans, and a chunky fat trunk already! looks beautiful

update day 17, Cyco XL is taking effect, the leaves have now turned a dark dark green , she is already starting to pong...oooohhhh yeah!!

17 days old and she's enormous!! my best progress yet for this time frame.

thanx man! lets hope so, like i said earlier i won't be going for mass yield, i got this strain simply for quality purposes, and cost me big $$ she already looks to be atleast a 6-8 ouncer already :)
