Good morning Farm!

Sun is out after a good rain. Snow in the Sierra and sun at the beach. Life is getting back to normal. Just chopped some Hazy OG and gave it a 7 day dry. It's still a little wet but ready for a test drive. Coffee and a test drive :)

The morning is the best time for me to try out new crop. Let's see how much I get done in the next hour :0) Peace.

I wished at that moment that I had my mother's old Rottie. Men could not approach with that dog around. There would have been NO WAY the guy would have gotten onto the property in the first place, but even if he had, the MOMENT he raised his hand to me that dog would have been all over him like white on rice. We didn't train the dog to do that, in fact I spent years trying to train it out of him. Uncut male wasn't havin' it, he's the owner of the wimmin & children, and that's all there was to it. Incredibly loving dog to my kids & family, but not to men he didn't know.

Unfortunately, my husband doesn't care for Rotties. But that dog would have protected me very well, I know that in my heart.

It's been POURING since yesterday. Dumping snow in the high country I'm hoping, all we'll need is for it to remain cool enough for the snow to not melt off right away. Got a kitty in my lap, a useless dog snoring to my right and a snug, comfy house for us all. I'm gonna have to let the chickenbirds out soon, but with the weather like this I know they're gonna stay in the coop anyway. The girls are looking a little rough from getting schtooped all day long, they may need saddles.

mornin ken...crappy weather here as well today...had plans for some outdoor work, tree trimming 35' up but the weather says no...I'm off to work on the camaro build...today is a paint day...

Woke up to well over a foot of snow here which is very unusual for us:-( After working at Mt. Hood Meadows ski resort for 9 years I really have no use for snow at all....except to counteract drought and even then it is better left on the mountain.

Going to go and play pinochle with my mom today and teach the youngest daughter how to play since we are all home bound for the most part.

My Zeus is not trained to protect, but I have no doubt he would. Doesn't even like the hubby to hug me but he deals with it because he must....sort of like me:-) Just kidding....I love the hugs!

Got about 8" of snow here. WHOOOHOOO thank goodness for the wood burning stove.
Here is my boy Spartacus. He is a purebred Dogo Argentino. This shot was taken 1 1/2 years ago and so he has put on about 45 lbs of muscle. He is not trained to attack but he is all over anyone who even sniffs of aggression.
My oldest and his buddy were play fighting. Spartacus came up without a bark and stood up, grabbed Jr's friends arm in a tight grip, and then politely brought him down to a knee. He never bit or even left a mark but had dudes arm in a vise grip and would not let go until I told him to. The Dogo's bite force is measured at 537 lbs
