Brought down a couple of plants today... at day 62.
First up, my Jillybean x Sour Bubble cross. Now that I was able to get a much better look at this lady, I'm thoroughly fucking stoked on this pheno. Aroma is almost textbook Trainwreck, but heavy on the lime. During flower it was just kind of a citrus note, but the limey goodness has really come out as she finished off. Structure is good, yield is good for the size/veg time for this lady, and great resin coverage. She actually resembles Sour Bubble back in the day, the original/early BX and the pics I remember seeing of BOG's SB mother clone. Needless to say, I'll be holding onto this cut, passing it along, passing more of the beans, and anticipating what else is found. Either I'm lucky as shit on this first pheno, or this cross is gold!
Here is the Nightmare OG I've been digging, pheno #1. Blueberry/OG in aroma, good resin coverage as well.
Tangerine Power #1 - Also plan on running this pheno again... awesome resin, spot-on tangerine/orange aroma, nice structure/good yielder, and one thing I really liked is she actually held herself up quite well, start to finish.
And some Glue. Her stank is overpowering... my entire house reeks of Glue at the moment lol. Stanky sour, chem, coffee... my mouth waters a little just when I describe that funk! Funny thing about the Glue... I had 5x ladies in the garden, all in different areas of the flower room for the most part, and I shit you not, there were some quite noticeable differences nearly in EACH plant. Some with less stretch, short internodes, no foxtails... or crazy stretch, long internodes, foxtails, but HEAVY resin... some even seemed to have stronger aromas than others. Long story short, it seems like the Glue girls away from intense light did the best.
Also, with the crazy height of this entire garden, my air circulation lacked a bit because I didn't want to run the wallmounts. I had some other means of circulation, but not nearly as much as I normally have. So, I can also attribute some of these differences to not only a simple lack of circulation, but also hot and cold spots... maybe even co2 swings? Not sure. It's not uncommon to see subtle differences throughout a monocrop, but to see semi-drastic differences in different parts of the floweroom with only a handful of plants was... interesting... I think GG#4 is a very easy plant to grow, but she really gets her freak on in different ways in different environments compared to other cuts.
Next run is going to be 80-90% GG#4. I've got a shitload of clones/teens on deck, just haven't had the lineup set in stone quite yet. Anywho, on with the Glue!
@Myco that Plushberry looks amazing.
Beautiful work man!
Happy Harvest!
Thanks man!
Outstanding...how's the colors in that plushberry?!
Thanks dude. What do you mean? Is this a rhetorical question lol? Solid purple buds just like the BCS mother used in the cross.
Wow... I feel like a moron for not cruising this thread before. Way to go, crushing.
Haha, well I appreciate anybody stopping by! Much more to come here, this thread will be perpetual of all of my dealings. Thanks man.
