Plants got a little unwieldy vegging too long. How much to top?

I wholly agree with all points quoted here. +1

Let's see your 2023 outdoor grow!

ZiZtahZ is my last plant of the current season, harvested on Saturday (24 June?). She's a cross of ZkittleZ from Nirvana Seeds (the femal donor). the male donor was most likely Jack Herrer bag-seeds from my 1st grow in 2016 that grew every year since.

    Growing in 3rd World Conditions.

yes, almost all grew:) I planted 2or3 seeds every few months for almost 3 years. i was really happy with the outcomes. and now have seeds from those plants crossed with my local-grow that has self-developed from bag-seeds (Jack Herrer, Sour Diesel, and probably random pollen from my...

    Opinions? Any Suggestions? Hopefully Help

I'm no tent expert, my only concern would be that she may grow too tall for your setup if you continue feeding her...just like my giant son, I need to put him outside soon ;)

the earlier posts mentioned troubles with PH and Nutrients etc. and you are using proper soil (fox farm if I remember). To my understainding: the good soil will buffer the PH and nutes if you make a few mistakes here or there, but not if you're consistently messing up. I'd like some expert...

    Growing in 3rd World Conditions.

I bought seeds from MSNL in 2016. our local tax-office and national post-office took 9 months to deliver it to me after it landed on our shores. I had given up and suddenly recieved a fashion-magazine with my seeds taped into the middle pages...talk about a sexy foldout!

maybe try some aggressive topping (not fimming) for a few weeks. she should branch nicely. then wait another week or 2 for the new branches to grow out, then choose each new cutting in the same manner that you choose which branch to top-off. but she will need great environment control if you...

I'm generally an outdoor grower. Most of my plants are started indoor or in a greenhouse. Clones cannot be started outdoor because you must look after a few variables (humidity temp light) but once the plants has rooted well and you see a few branches growing bigger then you can easily put...

NEED HELP PLEASE!!!! Not happy with first legal grow!

I came across research a few years ago that it is better to force many types of plants away from the tap-root towards fibrous root systems. the airpot and cloth-pots are the commercial results of the research. https://air-pot.com/nursery/research/ now, I plant my seed in a basket (like the...

Yes! The roots will develop at/around the nodes. so you need that bit of stem below the node. as always, a new branch or 2 will try to grow at the node -> cut it off but not too close to the main stem. Leave a few milimeters of the new branch...literally milimeters! and apply the rooting...

:) you are absolutely not wrong. In my almost 3 months of daily cloning I found that cleanliness, temperature and specifically humidity controls are the keys. in fact: "Clean humidity dome" sums it all up for me. I tried: - all types of cuts: breaking the branch off, 45 degree, straight cut...

Newbie grower. I've been growing for a year now.

normally 10% at a times a good idea Decimation :) either take 10% off, or leave 10% on. @TOFUFEIXING420 went for option 2. I played with both in the past and my experience is that option 2 works great if you have enought time/energy to let it vegetate and recover for a week or 2. it's my...
