Veg tent is a little tight these days, have plans to take clones soon but I need to have time to actually be ready to properly take care of them.

I have some fresh seedlings to. I haven’t been super diligent about ph with the seedlings and veg tent in general, and when I use strait water I’ve been just using tap water. This is probably why the seedling growth rate seems slower than a lot of the other posters on here.

I need to have a 5gallon water tank with just filtered ph’d water that’s already at room temp. My faucet water is 40-59 degrees and usually low 7s ph, 150 average ppm mostly calcium. If I had the water ready and made smaller batches of nute mix maybe, usually with 25-50 percent nute mix it brings the ph to upper 6 and I run with that

maybe I need to run some water only runs and try to mess with micro nutes to test how plants react, and how to recognize the deficiencies, how can I cram years of experience into my brain in a couple months?Hah

Does it look like this romie is auto flowering?

I’ve thought about putting it in flower but not with bugs in there, if I take clones off it wonder if they will auto flower. So far the melon is nice, Looks a little heavy on nutes but it’s putting off some nice growth I’m going to cut for clones someday. Can’t wait to try it.

Melon branches, probably be ready to cut by the time I’m ready to take care of them, 5 or 6 branches total. This thing has so many growth nodes. Hopefully it responds ok to the pruning.

I have read that some do weird stuff like auto flower, herm balls, etc. I know a guy has a mother almost 10 years old to. Real old growth! Part of all this kaos is trying to find stable plants with the right properties I need.

the 2 clones I bought are growing, one of them is key lime pie. The other one I’m not clear on.
The tag says oz skittles, I’ve also heard of zkittles, have no idea wtf it is, really.... google that shit I guess

Its just starting looks like. But a clone will flower from that point. Likely not much plant from a clone.

Ok thanks, it’s not supposed to be an auto flower But it was cut in September then stressed out and cloned again by me.
This is the clone, I gotta get at least one good romie lol.
Wish I hadn’t pinched the top off.

Maybe it’s time to scrap everything in the flower tent and clean the tent for pests.
But I have a lot in there. Like 80$ worth of seedlings plus the jack herer is well along flower, looking fairly good despite everything.

my other option is get the 32x32 tent and start it flowering. And let the stuff in the other tent continue. harsh choice either was it’s more money.

This is the jack herer, it’s flowering good in spite of these awful looking leaves. They look claw like up top on new growth and the spots?
I know there is fungus gnats around, not infested like it was before I neem drenched the shit out of everything, but a few will fly around usually when I move stuff, mostly from underneath the bottom of the 2 old plastic bucket plants. I looked at the leaves with the scope and didn’t even see fungus gnats larva like I expected. It’s been in the dirt for a bit I tried a light feeding last time, it may have helped but not drastically.

Looks like you are having the same problem as one of my plants. I am waiting for her to dry but will run a gallon of light nutes through her and check runoff. I will continue with a second gallon of likely a bit higher strength nutes and flush her down to about 1.6ec or 800 ppm. That should reset the pot. But we will see. I have been having ongoing nutrient issues.

The wedding cake is also bulking up slow and steady, with sick leaves. Inspite of everything it’s going to be really sticky buds, gnat traps ugh 🤦‍♂️

I think I over nuted them when they were shocked With the power outage and have been scared to give them anything much since, I’m going to give them a solid 50% nutes after they dry this time. I did 35% last time about 400ml after watering to runoff with just water they seemed to like it. And I’ve notice the buds swelling even if the leaves just keep dying.

The candy apple kush. It’s looking really nice, already probably has the most weight of the original 8. The first 6 plants after fully drying, trimming and stuffing all in a large jar the neem oil smell is gone, it may have just been on the old leaves I trimmed off. Ended up with 2-3 oz of fluffy but really crystalline buds. Almost all of it is the 3 romie plants. I’m a little hesitant to smoke it honestly. The idea of the neem, I have a little, the romie is strait fire, I love it. It’s just weird, like a salty citrus smell like carnitas lol. Not cause of the neem oil, all 4 have been the same. It’s a rush though, upper sativa.

bla bla here’s the cak

Front and center is my unofficial solo cup entry.

Dosido bag seed, I called it dosiwhat heh. I don’t think it likes the led, or maybe the nutes, the herer is pretty easy to grow imho like the romie.

The jack herer on each side are clearly 2 different is the word phenotype? I wonder if one will prove to be male and the other female.... interesting

So I did it, I ordered not only a 32x32 tent, but also a clone machine. I think the cloner will help me with understanding nutes and give me a easier success rate. Its part of my plan really, I just had to do it. Some cheap clonex knockoff, but I already have a bunch of spare parts and it had good reviews.

Going to stick the cloner and a seedling tray in my 2x2x3 tent, with heat pad and a couple small t5 lights one for each “tray”. If I pop seeds it will be here and also for clone transplants.

Going to put my medium t5 and the 2 135w cfl in the 32x32 tent, probably combo of a mom or 2 and some veg

Keep the flower tent the same

So with these changes here is my power profile

400 fans
470 cfl
400 hps
135 led
1405watts total
11.7amps

After doing the math it’s not so bad, I was thinking about running another 20 amp circuit but I won’t. I’d like to scrap the led and get another 400hps but I’m worried about heat and load. Idk I have it so I’m running wiTh it

put romie into flower tent, it seems to be auto flowering anyway. I bought a new romie clone today, it is a #6 and looks shitty, the other ones were #2 and were better, what does the number mean? I have a vague idea....

the candy apple kush is getting close, even the wedding cake is bulking up, at least the flowers are growing even if the leaves are dying.

Seedlings went into flower dec 9, been almost 2 weeks, they popped out of ground nov22 almost 3 weeks, should start showing sex soon, they all seem a little behind, but conditions are not always ideal around here.
I read typically male show sex earlier, 3-4 weeks and female more like 4-6 weeks... it’s been 4-5 at least.
Well it would be my luck if every one of them is female hahahhahahha, I can’t throw them out I’m to much a plant horder.
I’m going to let them flower in the pots they are in already, the cak and wc will be gone soon and the herer is a faster flower, should be done in 4 weeks or so. Trying to get higher plant numbers sea of green I know production is better with larger plants, but I think I’m already going to be giving away excess. I’m not trying to produce for anyone else.

I’m not sure but have an idea, i use the larger square pots the herer seedlings are in, have 3 rows of 6, run 18 plants at a time, just scoot them over to the led as they flower.
The mature flowering plants seem to do ok, the seedlings didn’t like the led I don’t think. Cut a couple clones every week or so.... idk. They will get root bound most likely and start eating their leaves at the end.

Ive read mimed over and over say large perlite. I bought smaller stuff cause it was a third the price. I’m going to use my bonsai technique and screen out the small stuff to mix with coco and start using that instead of ocean forest for seedlings and cutting transplants. Then the large stuff left i am mixing 50/50 ffof with a little vermiculite.
2 reasons. Need them to dry faster, I want more frequent watering, currently 3-4 days on the fabric pots and 3-5 days on the pure happy frog the candy apple and wedding cake are in. side note on the pure happy frog. I sifted all the large chunks in the happy frog and put them on the bottom of the pots. So its super loose on the bottom but fine and compact on top.
And hopefully it will be harder to over fertilize i think. Hoping to train myself on nutrients between the cloner and reducing available nutes in the soil. Hopefully it doesn’t make them dry out to fast.....

I want a rack that I can put in each tent. To keep the plants off the ground for air flow and to slide a tray under to collect runoff..... watering in place..... reduce handling and risk of contamination. Like a large cookie cooling rack but 6-8” tall maybe, in the exact sizes of my tents. Lol

I use a 200ml syringe with a 2’ tube to water the small plants.
I take them all out when I water, one at a time. I put the big ones on a 5 gallon bucket with some pieces of wood and water to catch runoff, the little ones I just put in a tray and do the same, dumping the excess in the bucket. I set the big ones in a tray after the majority of runoff to finish dripping. That’s what I’ve been measuring for ph and ppm, maybe I should collect all of it.....

I’m using one gallon jugs to mix nutes in but organic fertilizers don’t keep well, I am thinking of mixing smaller batches so I can suit each plant better. Maybe 18 different plants in different stages isn’t such a good idea. Maybe 3-4 kinds like cut 4 melon, the cut 4 romie, etc etc, then theoretically I only make 3-4 different batches?..!?.?.??!
