I do what @GT21 suggested. Keep in mind these are just guidelines. Every room,strain, etc is different and will react differently. If its hot to the back of your hand it will be hot for them.
Thanks bro. My room without a heater on and lights off for 4 hours would probably drop into the low 50's. I have the lights at 15 inches right now with canopy under 80 easily. The room its self is maybe 70 and lights will go out at 1:00 by 1:30 temps will be down to 60's without the heater so I try to adjust to keep everything between 70-80. I moved years ago to escape these temps but didn't go far enough it seems.
I value all of you guy's opinions even when they are not the same or I would not tag you when asking a question. I also appreciate the fact that even with descriptions no one can give truly specific info about a room they are not in.
I am watching these things like a fat kid on cake well like me on cake :) Now let me tell you how I screwed up and held these plants back a bit.
I got one tracked minded since my first plant that the most often mistake was over watering. So I had read this time how I needed these auto's to start in large pots. Now reading this set off another bit of advice that a large pot and small pot was often the cause of over watering.
So I filled my pots after mixing the soil with extra pearlite. I added a couple ounces of water to the center and in the tiny seedlings went. The next 3 weeks I never added enough water to allow the roots to spread out and pretty much made it the same as if I would have stuck them in a small cup. The soil outside of this small circle I hadn't watered.
Not once had I watered to run off. (Somehow I must of watered the ugly one at least double one night but only in the center of the pot.) 8 ounces is the most I had given per pot all the way up until last night. I checked and decided they needed water and realized the plants were bigger and could handle more water. I ph'ed 2 gallon of water and started very slowly adding 16 ounces to each pot spread across the entire pot. Then after waiting 15 minutes I started over at the beginning and they all took another 16 +/-oz before I got a little run off.
They all looked better today. I did not water little ugly as she is still trying to dry out somehow.
So no one should worry about me killing my plants following their advice as I can screw up even with the best advice. I won't blame anyone but me if they die for some reason.
Thank you all for stopping in and offering your help.
@jipp Where are you bud?
