Technically there are 2 answers to the yield thing. First and foremost a plant cannot yield more than it is genetically capable of, lets get that out of the way. Now, every plant has a certain leaf to bract (or calyx) ratio as well as ceetain cannabinoid and terpene profiles however they will only produce what they can based on nutritional and environmental factors. We know we can increase what they produce by increasing sulphur, uv light, cold shock, ect.... buds are the same way. Yes the plant has a maximum amount of flower it can produce per node, so growing more nodes, opening them up, and then feeding then properly with ample light will increase your yield. We are also aware of how they respond to diffeent wavelenfths of light which can each prompt a specific response. Also, some strains prefer growing larger contiguous buds and some prefer many multiple nodes. Not every strain will do well in every growing style.Nice looks good. But thats not lollipopping, thats just extreme defoliation. It looks like youll get some nice nugs there. What strain?
Looking good. Ill stay tuned, i want to see how this turns outTechnically there are 2 answers to the yield thing. I need an idea of something to tie it toIt doesnt look like bugs to me, it looks like damage from the leaf being squeezed or pinched or whatever the fuck. Watch CLOSELY. If no more holes appear, youre good. Look under the leaves too, most pest hide under the leaves. Your pH and ppm look spot on to me. I think youre doing everything right. I highly recommend you start some LST (low stress training) and start bending the taller branches down and out to open up the middle and other nodes as well. Just use soft garden ties, pipe cleaners, anything that wont cut into the plant and start making those ladies SPREAD EM (sorry i couldnt resist making an adult joke)
In case you havent done any training before, its not that complicated. First, just spend a minute or 2 with the plants and looking at them to get an idea of how the plant wants to grow and which branches to bend. Then when you pick a branch, wrap your little wire tie/pipe cleaner around the branch and gently bend the branch until you start to feel resistance and then tie it down. Do the same thing with any other branch you can/that needs it. In a day or 2 the tips will be turned back up to the light again and youll be able to bend those branches a little more. I bend them right down flat so that there are 6-8 branches off the main stalk that bend out at almost 90° angles and then turn up toward the light. Each branch is then topped 1 last time giv8ng me 12-16 tops per plant. The great thing about manifolding is that all of your work is done at the front end. Once you get it trained, tied down, under a screen, defoliated and then topped. Once youve dont that you pretty much just leave them to flower. Rearrange buds around week 4 of flower but thats it. Hope this helps.

Can you hook the pipe cleaners onto you net pots?I need an idea of something to tie it to
Either that or you can use 2 screens. Put 1 really low so you dont need to use wires then as they grow let them grow through the 2nd screen. The 1st screen helps to train/manifold and the 2nd helps keep the tops in placeCan you hook the pipe cleaners onto you net pots?
Man hands down for the value look at the Rayonled 720 UV. Its 680w true LED power and the 2 UV bars are 40W If its too much then look at the mars hydro FC4800 480w but only has 4, literally 4 UV diodes, but for the money its a good light.. Both have uv but the rayonled has A LOT as well as deep red and IR the rayonled will flower a 5x5 and the mars FC4800 will flower a 4x4.So frustrating about my lights. I need recommendations on lights for a 5x5 tent with 4x4 grow table in it. Thanks
I don't use net pots. They are in 6 inch rockwool cubesCan you hook the pipe cleaners onto you net pots?
Ok cool. You could also just put up your trellis now and tie them to the net.if that would work?I don't use net pots. They are in 6 inch rockwool cubes
Oh yeah! Shit. Tying it to the trellis would be perfect. ThanksOk cool. You could also just put up your trellis now and tie them to the net.if that would work?
Ok. Cool. And just because the flood tray is 4x4. I still flower for 5x5. Right?Man hands down for the value look at the Rayonled 720 UV. I am for sure doing this exact thing. Just need to make sure im not taking to many leaves off. But if i do the traing right i shouldn't have to hardly cut anything off. Only tops!It doesnt look like bugs to me, it looks like damage from the leaf being squeezed or pinched or whatever the fuck. Watch CLOSELY. If no more holes appear, youre good. How big is the tent ? And what was the wattage of your light again?Ok. Cool. And just because the flood tray is 4x4. I still flower for 5x5. Right?
When youre training, you can also bend the fan leaves down under the nodes/branches as THIS is optimal. It opens up the nodes and catches the light under it. Just make sure there is sufficient airflow through the plant, the last thing you want is to get bud rot or have the bottom/inner buds die off from no air after all your hard work.Hey. I have to ask @DreamwalkerJ you all still on lockdown there?
Oh my fucking yesThe rayonled foldable is where its at isn't it?
Just curious because I’m not sure if I had seen it, is this a live or sterile gri
I think hes going sterile, right @DazedNconfused78 ? You are going to keep putting h202 in your res right? No bennies or organics?Just curious because I’m not sure if I had seen it, is this a live or sterile grow?
I just wanted to say yes again. In case that wasnt clearThe rayonled foldable is where its at isn't it?
