Yeah i cant wait to run them....and hope you are willing to help this dude out to achieve stellar results, and just noticed my PPM3 meter maybe on the fritz...heard somewhere they did this, now I will need to solve this issue and get back on track, thank goodness it is NOT a necessity, just a bonus!!! Also didnt realize they were a rarity, and am beyond a happy camper to be gifted , well will be gifted, this beautiful lady you call Frostitute...I guess I need to step to the plate and hit it out of here, would make a great candidate for the newer setups we have planned on our farm and local gardens!!!

The frostitute is very rare strain. I keep the strain with 1 buddy just in case I have something go wrong other than that nobody in my area have the strain at all and you cant buy seeds either. Its a g13 x ? so theres noway of remaking her. Theres a few lucky people around the country with her as well. I hope she spreads around and all of you can enjoy her.

Veg girls 33 days in UC

PPM 550 ph 5.7
They have really taken of in the last 2 days. I think I was adding to much Roots Excel into the solution. Monday I did a complete flush and added 45ml of RE and it just gets the roots brown as hell and the roots werent taking off like they should of. So I drained a 1/3 of the solution and added back ro and nutes and they grew a shit load of new pearly white roots. Im gonna lower my dose to around 30ml for the veg rig.
Im planning on putting them into bloom on wed if the roots are big enough if not no later than Friday.

You can see all the new white roots them all grew in since Friday the brown roots aint slimy just brown

Once again... Many thanks for the details and excellent photos! So I've been busy, but flipped a week ago and decided to add Roots Excelurator at 0.5 ml/gal and AquaShield at 3 ml/gal... Turns out my top off res was much larger than I really needed... Lot of extra juice and no airstone... Kinda smells like a pond in there and I think I should prob dump it and add an airstone as well as omit RE now that I just started Week 2 of bloom. Any thoughts? Also do you think 0.5 ml/gal of RE at the flip was a bad idea? :wondering

Shady I like to run my top off rez with just plain RO . I think they really like the fresh h2o coming into the system. I usually do add backs twice a week. I think .5 ml of roots excel will work really well Im going from 45 ml down to 30 ml from now on. I dont think they really need it at full strength like everything else. Mine are much happier now since I lowered the dose. I would run the RE until week 3 when you start seeing them bud up you want the roots as big as possible right.

Bluewaves that really sucks man and sorry to here that. You can stop in anytime you need a fix. I wish I lived closer I would help you out. There be a lot of blooming going down once I get these other plants in bloom.

I like the idea of dropping the RE dose down, esp if you don't see a decrease in effectiveness. 1L/mo is a bit much for me.

Thx for the response BG! At what time after flip do you start lowering the water level in the system and what's the max depth that you go below the lip? :wondering

I run it between 1-2 inches below the netpot. Once there in ripening mode and I add in OD and ro only like 10 days before harvest I drop it to 4 inches below the netpot and I also start lowering the chiller as well. Ill bring it down to around 60f at this time as well. At 5 days before harvest I drop the chiller down to around 53f and it really brings out the colors.

BG i would hit the revegged plants with dutchmaster reverse make sure them bitches dont hermie on you... Reverse worked wonders for my boy that did the same thing half the crop he sprayed the other half half he didnt... needless to say the half he didnt spray hermied like a mofo

Thx again for taking the time to respond my friend! My apologies for asking so many questions, but it seems everytime you answer I come up with a few more... Any thoughts or details on the following? :thinking

• PK Booster timing, duration, and nutrient profiles including PPM's during application...
• Supplements during final flush before harvest such as Overdrive, and/or PK Boosters...
• Silica to raise pH with DM Gold Flower during bloom...

P.S. I figured out the loophole and rated your thread 5 Stars when making this post... :cool

No biggie on the Qs thats how we all become better growers

Im using bud ignitor at around day 5 of bloom 1/2 strength until my first flush at day 14-15 then switch to BB at 1/2 strength = 100 ppm 2-2 1/2 more weeks flush again and run the BB at 3/4 150 ppm and run that until 3 weeks before harvest then flush and add OD at 3/4 150 ppm for 2 weeks (all of this with base nutes) then flush and refill with OD only full strength 200 ppm for 3-5 days then flush again and refill plain RO and run that until finished.

I like using the boosters at a lesser strength then when I top off I can add in the remaining booster to make it full strength and dont have to worry about ODing them with it. Like Ill use 1/2 strength BB at 2 weeks and by the end of that week Ill need to add back nutes and Ill add back 1/4 strength BB and the next add back Ill add 1/4 strength BB again. Does this make sense

Ill be able to tell if the budignitor helps this next round with the frostitute because Ive grown her so many times. Im pretty sure Ill be shit canning it $80 for that little bottle is stupid.

I really dont use silica often because Im using the silica stone as a medium. Im switching to hydroton on this next round so Ill be using silica as a ph up a few times during the grow.
