Yes we are getting some rain :) Not alot though. Forecast says we might get more
The state needs to do something quick to fix the water shortage.
Borrowing money?.shit..just legalize cannabis and the taxes would buy all thew water we need..
:wacky:

It is scary...Today was a good day though

Hey Utah has lots of snow!...wonder if they would sell us some water?
Not very far from here really

Looks like a decent amount of rain is in the forecast for NorCal. I know it won't fix our problems but I'm glad to see it.

God damn! What the hell happened here, and why is the governor still deciding to allow fracking if it's already happening? That makes no sense.

Sorry, @We Solidarity -- I cannot 'like' that. :(

i guess them Frackers dont give a shit about a water shortage

Nothing but greed these days. We will all pay the price for it!

:meh: One storm wont do it??

No but it represents a general change in the weather patterns. We now have what`s called a pineapple express weather pattern going for us.

yeah Pretty warm storms..not alot of snow probably

Ken, Dave told me last night there was something like 36" down and another 36" predicted...? I can't recall exactly.
@pinegrovedave -- honey?

I was thinking that as I woke up this morning as it's a lot warmer than it's been. However, Carson Pass is still closed for avalanche control. Ya hear that? AVALANCHE!

Seeing a lot of chemtrails?

I find that when they chembomb one area very heavily and cause droughts, that east of the drought area receives high precipitation. Right now you Cali's are seeing big droughts while we are getting much more mositure than the norm. Good for us, bad for you.

do yourself a favor and stop drinking bottled waters...drink your tap or well with a filter on it, same shit way cheaper. How much water does it take to bottle water? Would blow your mind...

Storm total for snowfall in Kirkwood, which is right up the road from us, is 67" and still falling. In fact, there's been so much snowfall that Kirkwood had to close today due to avalanche hazard(s) on the slopes.

The water shortage is all bullshit. It's just another way to increase the price of water. Everything else is going up, why not water?
Reminds me when Al Gore used to sell carbon credits for global warming.

Nope, not seeing any 'chemtrails'. There was talk of cloud seeding prior to this most recent storm moving in, but I didn't catch anything else about it.

IMO, people shouldn't be drinking bottled water in any event. It's not regulated at all, all the FDA/USDA require is a list of ingredients (water, d'oh!) and nothing else, whereas the water coming out of your tap is heavily regulated and thus, tested, by the EPA.

You don't know what you're talking about, at all. :)

Good thread, people need to be aware how severe the drought is. California was already headed towards a major water crisis within the next 5-10 years, this has just brought it to a head sooner. Unless we have record shattering rain for the next few months, the state is going to be in really bad shape.

We should have a thread on tips to reduce water usage. Maybe I should start one?
