Over the years i've tried a lot of things, H2O2 has its' uses but you're right there are better sterilizing agents. What i remember from back then was that no matter what i was told about H2O2 safety i was still surprised at just how little could bleach skin or ruin a pair of jeans. Thankfully, i had listened about gloves and glasses. It was H2O2 that taught me to take up a bit of air after syringing something out of a bottle in order to avoid those few random drops that always seemed to leak from the tubing.

That's why we use 3% not 30%. At 3% you can use it as a mouthwash. Please go and find me another sanitizing solution that is so safe. I'll wait.

Thank you for the advice on the h202. Not gonna lie. Me, the table, everything probably would had it all over the place. I’ll be careful if and when I go to use that.

sorry for asking the same question twice. Lots of information to take in and I’m sure not all of it stuck in the last 23 pages of discussion haha. Slowly getting it dialed. Hoping my questions become less and less dumb haha.

I have a frozen 4L milk jug. Should I add that, cap off, to the res?. So it melts (cools res. Currently/always 70f). AND replenishes the 1L per day it’s lost for the last 4 days?

Let me clear something up... ALGAE IS NOT BAD as long as its not plugging up your system. It is the result of damp areas and light. As the plants grow it will shade and the algae will go away. If you have algae (green algae only) its because there is light.

Anything that kills algae will damage plant cells... plain and simple

Went from 6.2 to 6.1

They will come... not sure if you have been use hydrogen peroxide or how if so bit they look ok so I wouldn't worry probably filling the net pot

No I havnt used the h202 yet and the enzyme Komplete only once. Still don’t fully understand when and why to use those.

Enzymea at res change. If using beneficial bacteria like hydrogaurd or great white also at res change and no h2o2.

If using h2o2 then enzymes at rez change and h2o2 every 2-3 days

So this h202 I bought is barely needed. And I still need beneficial bacteria. I think we went over this already. Oops.

also. I was wrong earlier. My tap water ph is high... so adding 4L to my res made the ph go from 5.9 up to 6.2 since my water ph is like 8.

Should I remove these monster fan leaves from my other plants? They are as big as my hand but that also means they’re awesome solar panels too right?

there is quite a bit of new, light green growth below these monster fan leaves with big thick veiny purple stems.

most dead leaves are yellow. The plant at the far back is turning black and dying in a different way.

I am really tempted to pop these slurricane seeds I got or take clones from my current Mac N Jelly soil plants (in case one pheno is amazing) and start fresh with the hydro stuff.

480w quantum board LED. That could very well be possible. They are higher than the rest. They’re just gonna have to deal with it. The soil plants are happy and they’re the only ones giving me any action so they win. Plus the ppfd in those corners is like 400 on my chart. Sad. Light stays cranked. Right?

Ever hear of guys buying monster lights. And lot of them, but only running them at 50-80%?

My light stays 100% all the time. I adjust the height.

Maybe running it at 50% is less light and heat, but can be put closer.

Water went down another 6mm or 1.3L or so. So it’s already burnt up (probably evaporated) the 1 gallon of tap water I put in a few days ago.

ph went down by .1.

Ppm went from 720-740

Temp staying 71f
