Gh 3 Part Coco And Plants Dying Wtf.... Please Help..

yeah... its kinda nuts. is it ok to always have to ph up? i feel like its a bad thing

my water here sucks and i have to ro so i use it.

i want to just do 6/9 bc of the simplicity

but constantly rising of the ec and lowering of the ph is killing me. i feel like it is always like that. this problem started when i started watering everyday. now im over feeding!! how do i balance it without florakleen all the time?

so ec up and ph lowering ....u mean the runoff?

ok just making sure.
stop measuring the ph of ur runoff for now....
ph nutes to 5.8 everytime! important!
measuring ec ... if its high then ur coco is hotter than what ur putting in...... it is most likley from letting the coco dryout causing lockout, ph crazyness and whole lota other unwanted sht, not from 'overfeeding'

when i use the 6/9 with ro water is ph of 5.4 in the rez

i then ph up to 5.8 or 6

i think its bad to always use ph to control the rez. Am i wrong?

what happens after a week is the ec goes into the 2000 and ph of 5.4 or lower

in 6 feedings per week

so thats my question. if im going to feed everyday should do like feed feed 1/4 strenth feed feed 1/4 strength feed

thats 7 days schedual

ph up/down is to adjust ph.
im like you and would rather not. in veg i dont need it but flower the higher ec puts my ph at 5.4 too. i adjust all ok my res 120L so sits for a week too.
in veg i compensate with rootbooster.... costs way more, stupid really:smoking:

understand this is not an over night fix...
uv been flushing so like i said before keep it stable and regular.

understand u are feeding the coco, not the plant. the coco feeds the plant....:D that helped me

i think every1 battles with the feeding schedule of coco at first, i did too.
it just looks too much like soil:D

in flower i have 1gal pots... feed 7x/day @0.5l first feed 1l. ec 1.2 upto 1.8-2 depending on week...
not over fed.....

hmm im not sure how to explain...without getting too deep..im ripped as too:D
coco does a great job at holding food for the plant and keeping it available.
your plant takes what it needs from the coco... ur nutes replenish the coco and the runoff carries out excess.
so feeding with 1/4 strength sometimes not sounding so good now?

yup... and i learned in soil...

same as m8.
i had problems starting.
thinking just as you are.
i just followed the advice i passed futher to you.
as it turned out it was as i was told. and ill never! let my coco dryout again. its like pushing rewind a week.

im not saying im absolutley correct, im sure some disagree with parts
but im certain this is from drying it out..
