At least 30 inches above the canopy. I wouldn’t go over 10-15% output on that until you know how the plants react homie! Nice upgrade…..👊🏻🤡
R u referring to the new light I got today? I got it at 25% power right now about 12" above canopy. I'm definitely going to watch it to ensure leaves don't curl up on me.

I am, it’s easy to give a seedling more light, it’s a lot harder to grow if you accidentally roast it a little. That’s why I say a little lower output . If it start to get lanky, the. You will know to turn it up

Absolutely. I actually lowered that mars aqua N I noticed on the tallest one the leaves started to canoe very slightly. After the light cycle shut off it went back to normal. So now I installed the new light and it adjusts through four energy settings. I have it on the lowest setting right now. Have to readjust environment now but hopefully to stay.

Hey folks. New update. Gotta new light today. Spent $400 and seems really nice. Gotta warranty. Also picked up some Fox farm n froggy soil today.
Would like to find a 2'x2' or so grow tent for seedlings. Like amending soil with dry nutes, but was hipped to fluid nutes and ingestion period. For example, it takes approximately 7 days for dry nutes to break down, but liquid is like instant. Thank God for this. Folks I should've known but just not practiced enough. Forgive me

Hey folks. Girls enjoying the new light. Seem to have gotten bigger n the ten minutes I've been away... lmfao. No straight up, they seem to like. Although temps were down to mid 60s because I'm still readjusting. Pictures...id rather in a day or two. Picking up frequency of watering. Got to. Soil drying quick because girls eating faster.

Just got one og kush feminized and five whatever we had in the soil. Jiffy pellets with super thrive. PD around 60-6.5

I don't worry about humidity at all myself if it's a little low becuz I put fans on my seedlings. Don't do what I do. But I'm sure it'll come up. No worries.
I'd like to engineer a computer fan to let some air exchange. Should I put one on both ends or just one end? There's two air ports on top the done to help control humidity.

Good luck to you
I’m in kinda the same boat new here new to indoor grow and a buckeye! As well.
I got some started first week of December
And after hours of lurking on here and following some grows I’ve l learned a lot made some changes and it starting to show.
Tons of good info and members on here
You’ve had some of them chime in already
Any luck?

I started with 2 fans and that was too much. Just gotta watch and see. @Tumbleweed375 is the engineer. 😆 he would be able to tell ya.

haha an engineer as a hobby not by profession or education!

one fan will definitely do the trick, and honestly may not even need it for the little ones in a dome. Heat transfer and convection should give you enough airflow if you have 2 openings. a small computer fan on low set as your exhaust (blowing out away from the plants will create a bit of airflow in a little space, but there is a formula used to calculate the CFM needed.)

The more bends in your ducting, or filters in your line, the more power needed.

Little worried. This girl has been leaning lately for a few days. I'm thinking the fan I have is the problem because it's indirectly blowing on that side constantly. But I'm not sure. I also been paying attention to the actual first set of leaves and how they look like they're sorta canoeing but other sets are fine. Any thoughts?
Temp = 75
Humidity= 51-55

look at the first set leaves. Not present in the second set. Been like that for more than a few days.
