so today, crated in 10 gallons of ro..
starting ppm was 12.
added 2 teaspoons of epsom salts to the 10 gallons which brought ppm up to 150.. then added 60ml of gh micro and 90ml of gh bloom which brought me up to 670ppm
based those ratios of heads modifed lucas coco formula.

you would think huh... i actually went down and talked to several people and they all said that
my city doesnt test for that shit on the regular, they call it a "secondary test" ..the head lady at the water company is trying to track down the info for me.. hopefully ill get my hands on it
the yearly water reports lists copper, lead, a ton of toxins they test for, its like three pages long. checked their website too..

website says water is composed of moderate amounts of calcium, maganese and iron but doesnt list any type off ppm or ratios

great to have you stop by my friend!

If you got rust stains in the sink or tub Iron. White build-up on taps and glasses in dishwasher Calcium. Both great for your plants in moderate doses. You probably know that but that's all I got.

Nice to find an old friend again bro.

Peace

so the water company lady got back to me today!
wow, some very interesting things. there is like 50 wells/reservoirs in my city. And the water quality is vastly different from each well. People literally a block a way are getting water with a vastly different composition than me. I kinda thought jthe water would be fairly similar across the city.

Aerate your water for 24-48hours spec since it varies so much? That's crazy theres so many wells in your city.:cigar:

iv been using ro water as well the last couple weeks instead of the tap. was hoping to flip in three weeks.
any thoughts on changing up my feedings using the gh 3 part?
the last 6 or so feedings all plants have gotten per gallon
6ml micro 9ml bloom, 3ml cal mag, 5ml silica blast,
was thinking of following the gh guidelines for growth instead of heads formula.
which would put me at 5ml grow, 4ml micro, 1ml bloom, 5ml calimagic.
Been keeping ph at 6.0

im going to flower with 2 thousands hung vertically..
planning on four plants arranged in a circle around 1 thousand.. though i may do 6 plants in a circle around double stacked thousands. been training the plants not to have a lot of depth.. while optimizing height and width...

Anyone have any experience putting a cloth pot in a 5 gallon bucket?
I was thinking of doing one 5 gallon bucket with holes drilled in the bottom, filled with my mix(either with or without the smart pot)
set on top a second bucket with a hole drilled at the bottom and a grommet and hose inserted leading back to a resevoir. that way the buckets can fully drain.
do you think i would haave better luck with or without thefabric?
I realize the point of the fabric pot is more to let things breath which won't happen if sitting in a bucket, my reason for considering the fabric pot was to prevent clogs in drainage. i was wanting to collect the run off to feed a veggie garden as well. i figure the fabric will act as a filter and large particles out of the drainsn and eventually pumps. but i wonder if the bag being wet constantly would be determental for the plants root system in some way?

don't everyone post at once...lol
:p
so i went ahead and changed up my feeding follwing the gh guidelines, got a lot more "prayer action" going on..cm seems to be responding the best to that feeding:writing::bookworm:
