This was my shit show doing 1 gal straiggt coco. Had a few drunken timer mishaps so not the best example but more than a few others around here if you search

can growers here using this guide with 100% coco link me your grows without flushing ...I'm interested to see the results.
This was my first coco grow last year and I don’t think I ended up flushing one plant at all and the other I don’t remember but I doubt it. :) especially during veg. If I flushed at all it was just a normal “extra runoff” feeding.

Well I do and I dont

It’s kinda time consuming to flush 200 plants

So I’m trying to use the “perfect amount” of salts

Shit builds up around the pots

There was a post on reddit about a solo cup drip, the plant was pretty damn big for a solo

Trying to find the pics but no luck so far

thanks fellas there's plenty of pages for me to go through i will take a look maybe for my next grow i will back off the EC to maybe half on some of the waterings to act as a flush without using RO at least it still gets some feed.

Im not flushing but im using 70/30 coco/perlite and then adding extra perlite,10 handfuls to 2 of perlite..in 4 gals watering once a day.i feed low. Not sure on @MidwestToker mix but hes the dude i followed and havnt had to flush since ..

the only issue i see with my growing is in the leaves but i have improve the delay of when it happens i want to eliminate the leaf issue till end of harvest its not so bad its probably just a build up, i have seen a lot worst leaf problems from other growers. Also this plant might not needed so much nutrient if it was a big collar demanding plant that would of made use of the amount of nutrient available.
watering just once a day is impressive i can't see me doing it with my grow it would dry out.

And then there is lazy old me who hasn't setup a automatic drain for my waste tub, and worried if i setup for multiple feeds on a timer ill forget to empty the tub and it will over flow.
so I just manually turn the feed pump on once a day for 1 - 1.5 mins and make sure there is some run off.
I do run 6gal pots tho for small plants that only get about 3ft tall and 2.5ft - 3 ft round.
I really need to get some smaller pots.

hi @Aqua Man . i have just purchased a RO filter as my tap water went up to 500ppm from about 250ppm , so it went from bad to worse 😢 😊

could you kindly advise me if the following is correct please . i am using coco

once i have a reservoir of RO water , do i :

add tap water to bring it up to 0.2 EC ? ( you took a look at my water report a few weeks ago and you said it wasn't very good , so i'm unsure to add this back )
silica
calmag to bring EC to 0.4 ( 0.2 calmag + the 0.2 tap water )
maga crop A and B equal parts to bring EC to 1.6 ( plants are about 5-6 weeks old from seedling )
1 gram of epsom salts per gallon
fulvic acid 1ml per liter
then PH the water to about 6.0

how does that sound ?

i went from a 3gal bag to a 4gal its feels like extra work for making more nutrient but seriously i don't know which is best size bag for my tent.

i'm gonna start a germinated seed in a 3gal bag with no transplant for next grow i wanna see how it turns out.

Should turn out fine. How big do your plants finish?
Just feeding takes some practice at first untill they take off with small plant big pot.
I go from clones that have rooted out a 6" pot into 6gal and I still haven't mastered how much and how often to feed for the first 2 weeks but after that they seem to be fine.

it finishes about 1 meter tall under 420w i have started in a 1 gal before and yeah its not that difficult starting in a bigger pot just the idea of not transplanting makes less work.

Watering coco as coco and not as soil.
80-90% saturation.
ppm 700.
1 Month different. amazing 😍

So 90% saturation meaning you never get any runoff?
Saturation in coco is base off of your aeration amendments.. ie perlite and the dynamic of a proper mix to promote a low water table within your pots. @Aqua Man can better explain the water table part. Once you have a proper mix of perlite to coco.. you can never overwater.. trust me I get only 2 days or sun per week.. storm on the other days. Treat coco as if it was hydroponics and you will get amazing growth.

The practice doesn't apply to cannabis alone.. pics below shows a 1 week difference.

AFTER.. flowers after a week.

You didn’t flush the RO unit first did you?

Yeah that sounds good

Hey @Aqua Man question for you. When you see a nutrients with NPK of let's say 4:4:4 . Is the nitrogen part quoted as nitrates ie NO3- or is it elemental nitrogen ie N.
