Never leave a garden hose on in the basement even if it has a sprayer nozzle on it. I was cleaning and everything was fine left over night forgot to turn hose off. It wasn't leaking when I left but I came back to a sprayer that broke and I had almost a foot of water in my basement within 12 hours.

No high temp shutoff in the height of summer, 100+ degrees in the room for like 4 hours. Oops.

Trusted a guy watching my grow to be on top of shit, came home from vacation to a room full of dead plants. Check in on babysitters daily!

LoL it was a shitty day let me tell you! After the sulphur was all used up it started burning causing a toxic reaction. My lungs shut down must have used my inhaler 100 times just trying to stay alive. 6 1000watt lifts of plants fried up. Just a horrible horrible day:D expensive lesson learned that day

I had spider mites on a few plants so I smeared a dab of petroleum jelly around all my stalks to help prevent spreading. I had done it before but only in flower. The ones that were in veg now have rubbery stalks where the vaseline was and I had to stake them to keep them from falling over. It works to prevent aphids mites and other pests off your plants but I would only do it as a last resort in flower now.

You should leave the petroleum jelly for the bedroom :) kidding

As for never do that again haha,
Never leave a burning electric kettle, in a tent. For that added humidity it works great when you pay attention forget about it.
And you may have some steam fried plants

Buy mylar blankets and spray glue to use together, or mylar blankets to use for anything except my camping/bugout bag...

lol, I can't blame ya! just made for an interesting bonfire the other night. Dude kept staring quietly and smiling, finally he goes I saw you working in your garden......and I realized. Nice garden huh...! Lol.

I will never plug in a sulphur burner and take a nap at the same time again..never

Oh man, I can remember coming in one morning and finding my crop looking like potato chips...

BEWARE OF REVEGGING MALE FLOWERS!

I took a cutting from a male 10 days into flower. Everything was fine for 4-5 days, but on that 5th or 6th day... I remember walking into my nursery and feeling my heart collapse, the beads of sweat stress forming on my ass as I stood petrified, staring at two piles of fresh pollen.

I lucked out and never found seeds in my flower area.

Preventatives;
Remove the balls when you take cuttings.
Mist plants regularly to keep RH high and neutralize present pollen.

X

Why not? I just tossed the Mylar emergency blankets I used to use in my old grow room.

Ok, I have to ask. Why not?
Now the floor looks dirty all the time. Tea stains green stains from defoliating and walking on the leafs before picking them all up at once. Just always looks like I never clean.
