way more efficient than hps. hands down.What cob is compatible with 1150w gavita? How well does it penatrate into the canopy? How efficient is it compared to an hps? I’ve seriously been thinking about changing my lights. I’m just waiting for the technology to catch up. But there are so many different opinions it keeps me confused.

To add...A few yrs ago, I bought a Nextlight Mini for over $440 (list over $500). Since then I have added QBs and am happy AF..When you compare the upfront cost of led over hid is what turns a lot of folks away. They aren't looking and thinking outside the box. For a large operation yes indeed you need deep pockets for the led tech, but in the long haul the
( bigger picture )it is an investment that will pay in its over 5 years time. Think of the cost of electricity, maintenance, bulb replacements, cooling costs for a 1000 light operation. It is easy to see that led will be the better way to go. In todays world LED is making more sense all the time. There are 600w units that will pull damn near the yields that hps are pulling.
How is the roleadro 400 watt? Anybody? Is there any affordable 400 hps equiv? I’ll try one and see if i want to join your cult
