Slow night at work. Got pretty stoned last night and thought this leaf from my starfighter x lbl looked cool. They throw some pretty big fans.

Need some input from the crew. I'll break down the scenario and see what you guys think. Since flip to 12/12 mmy lights on is 7 pm and off is 7 am. I work afternoons so I'm not home for lights on until after work. I get home from work and have 2-3 hours to work in the garden before lights out. The veg tent comes on before I leave so I can work in there before and after. I like the lights running off peak for temps and cost, especially when summer rolls around. The problem is I'm feeding a short amount of time before lights out and can't get an early feeding in because I'm not home. I'd like to be doing two feeds as it seems there are a few of the strains that are still a little hungry. In the future I would like to set up a drip feed system on a timer but for now I need to dial back the spending on my new hobby lol. The Mrs. has been pretty patient with me since I'm working a shitload of ot, but I know that's running low quickly haha. Just grabbed a second ballast, cheap adjust a wing fixture, hps bulb, more nutes, a few odds and ends, a pack of beans from @Papa Indica "s auction and I still need a t5 for the veg tent :drunk2::nailbiting: you get the idea. Should I just give a bigger feed when I get home, I don't want to interrupt lights out as the room I'm in isn't light proof yet. I considered sips but the nutes I'm using go anaerobic relatively fast. Help a brotha out fellas, I respect your opinions

Hmmmmmmmmm. Definitely don't want to interupt lights out. You pretty much said it yourself. You can try to give them a bigger feed I suppose but dunno how well that would work out or you can do SIPS. That's about all you can do man.

Actually what if you did SIPS but with plain water. Enough to keep em hydrated and using the nutes in the mix already? I could see that working out.

I want to set up a drip system next time for similair reasons. I go 4pm to 4am. Gives me 30 min before work to feed and I can feed one more time before lights out. I want to do 3x but I can't as easily without drip.

Dtw with flora caps. $50 and a punp. A $15 ebay 80 gph pump is all you need..

Absolutely. That's the best bet but I think the brotha is tight on funds at the moment. If he can swing it though setting up a drip would be ideal. FLORA CAPS are the bee's knees!
Funding isnt the probem right now, mama bear is who I'm worried about. If I can get something relatively easy on the pocketbook though I can probably swing it.
he just gonna have to do dishes, make supper, lick it, what ever it takes... We need that shit! We got a business to run!
Lmao you almost made me piss a little bro. Break it down for me then. Pappy Zan. What do I need?

I hear you lmao mama bear is the ultimate force to be reckoned with. I'm in the midst of brainstorming my own for next run as well. I'll just put this up for you to brainstorm over as well. Pappy Zan can come back in the morning and look things over and/or make other suggestions. I don't know the lengths of hoses you'll need, but the most basic idea is:

Submersible pump(size depends on the length and amount of lines)
1/2" tubing(connects to submersible pump and can also be used as a manifold)
1/2" T Barb(s) to help create a circle or square shaped manifold in the grow area with 1/2" tubing
1/4" tubing(drip lines)
Drip Hole punch(for drip irrigation to punch holes where you want to install the 1/4" tubing)
1/4" barb connectors(they connect the 1/4" drip ling to the 1/2" manifold)
1/4" drip stakes

Here are some pictures. Not mine. I forget where I got them so credit can't be given. Sorry unknown hero.

That's about the most basic way to go. Instead of using 1/2" line for the manifold some people connect the 1/2" line from the submersible pump onto a barb that is connected to a 3/4" pvc manifold instead. I don't know if it make much of a difference but if mamabear doesn't get maim you I would get Flor Caps(1 for each plant) and Flora clips(2 for each plant) instead boring old drip stakes.
