Here's my first run ever doing this.
Turned out better then I thought it would.
So now I guess it still needs to dry out alittle more,it's still gummy.
Thanks for this thread @GT21 ,I'm about to wash 2 more jars in a bit. Now that my pan is done from the first run.

Great job @str8smokn good color!!! Glad i could help. If you scrape it all into parchment paper and work it into a patty then freeze it makes it easier to handle for some.

Sweet ,that's what I was needing. The finale step.
I will do it this afternoon, after it dries out alittle bit more.
I was trying to figure out how you all kept the slab look?

Sometimes itll be stable at room temp but i do this with all of it and store it in the freezer anyway... ill work it into a nice thin patty then freeze it then hit the paper with the spoon or lighter and itll shatter into a bunch of smokable slabs.

If it's too thick of a slab, get your patty warmed up and use a metal bar or the like and roll the patty thin. Might take a couple times to rewarm, roll, repeat. It's how I get my slabs shatter thin.

It helps if you put it on a warm surface too.

Ok, so I turned my stove on LOW and placed on it and worked with a spoon to flatten it out. Here's what I got now.
So should I work the middle out better,or is this a pretty good thickness?
It's still pretty dark in the middle.

I have a 3 gal vac purge system I used to heat the patty. After I dry ice extract my new trim for rosin, all the left overs in the bucket, I'll rerun thru some iso. Yes, I'm a greedy bitch, work hard for my yeilds, and want every last trich left on the trim. Lol Not sure if I'll use iso or 153* etoh. Cost per gallon is about the same, but I just ordered a gallon of 99.5iso on amazon yesterday for 20.00 shipped.

I can find 99% at the Beauty supply for $16.00 . So you got it pretty good price .My wife does Nails, so I saw it the other day when I was with her up in there.
And I don't blame you on wanting it all.
Shit I do too,but not at that stage yet.

I'm a caregiver for 6 ppl including myself. I make every type of med you can think of for my patients. As well as 3+ dozen edibles a month. So I'm kept very busy growing and making meds. I currently have so much etoh patties I don't know what to do with it all. I've now increased my dosing from 1.5g to 2g per dozen edibles at say 60% thc (guesstimate, albeit a pretty spot on figure imo). Plus when I clean my trimmer after this harvest, I'll get another 7g or so of etoh or iso oil.

Warning, too thin of a patty will make the patty very brittle and your get little shatter pieces vs shatter patty pieces. Mine just breaks apart as its pretty thin.

What's the most (deepest ) you've gone in the dish?
As in ,can I run two loads and drain into one dish? Making the dish around 1" deep of Alcohol mixture.
I know it will take longer to Evaporate, but is there any other problem with this ?

Can you make 2runs with the same jar? Wash it twice or does the first run get it all ?
Sorry for all the questions just trying to get it all down.

I'm not worried about the greet tint in my wash, 8 hrs under my t8 and the greens gone. So wash all you want. I use 11x 13 Pyrex dishes, I have 6 of these and also grease splatter screens as well. I would only fill the dish half way, as it takes longer to evap the thicker the liquid. Plus if it's too thick when evap, you can trap etoh moisture and not fully dry, making a gooey mess.
