Good shit.

Pipatxu is coming down in 72 hours. It's out of the flower room now, with the last two Blueberry Amnesia plants coming in to take its place. The first Lemon Citron will probably come out over the weekend, but maybe in the middle of next week. When that comes out of flower, another Silverfields goes in. Panama Red should be out in a couple weeks as well, as should the second Lemon Citron. Silverfields has essentially jumped the line in front of Framboise, as it's faster growing and will likely have more stretch to it, so they'll likely all get flipped this month with Framboise flipping next month with the Interstate Dragons and the first of the Ghanis.

Dropped an Orange Gasm bean, too. I seem to have settled on having roughly 75% regs and 25% fems going at any time. It offers a nice balance of having some dudes around while not having to go to the effort of sexing every bean that gets dropped. Next fems to go down will be Kali China, in a couple weeks. Next week, Silk Road Skunk gets dropped.

Now to load up a warhead of DTxC99 mixed with G13 Hashplant and make some tea.

Got my first mature seeds from Lemon Citron today. Oddly enough they came from a lower branch that I cut to be a clone, not even realizing that the bud was germinated (with Blue Power Mango pollen) until after it was cut. After a little prying and some close inspection, I ended up with about 25 fully mature seeds! That also means that there are some Lemon Framboise seeds ready.

Also pollinated Kubanskiy Ubiyza and Siberian Haze with Interstate Dragon and did some more defoliating.

With this type of hair density and thickness this young, The Shoeshiner is already proving itself to be some unique genetics.

Pipatxu is cut, rinsed, and hung. It ended up far more purple than the other one and smells a bit like caraway seeds. Should get to try it on Wednesday or Thursday. I also pulled out the first Lemon Citron for its 3 days of darkness, but haven't replaced it with anything yet. Though when I do it'll be with a Silverfields plant.

The Bubba Hash fem broke the surface of the dirt. It's good to have that joining the party. The Shoeshiner will need to be repotted in another week or so. About half of the Ghanis have differentiated, with a roughly even split between males and females. Also, the last-cut '88G13HP has officially started revegging as it finishes its seeds! That will definitely get some G13 Hazeplant pollen on the next flowering.

Silk Road Skunk went down today! Pretty excited to have that joining the haze party, not gonna lie. It's even better that it came as a freebee, and that TNF doesn't charge shipping. Will order again from them in the future.

Kali China and Golden Tiger go down in a week or so, along with some beans of legendary odor and unknown provenance courtesy of @Dr.Green55 that we're just gonna call Dr. Greenfunk. If I had unlimited space, I'd drop RSC's Highland Lao and Ace's Panama with these, but those will just have to get run down the line.

So now the Haze party consists of:

Original Haze (9 regs, hoping for at least one good male)
Super Lemon Haze x Moonshine Haze- already have at least one male from these
G13 Hazeplant (G13 Haze x '88G13 Hashplant)- should get at least one male here
Valencian Haze [(G8 x Panama) x (F13 x Oldtimer's Haze)]- should get some males here too
Silverfields (Super Silver Haze x Sannie's poorly named cornerstone sativa)- two plants left to differentiate, hoping one is a dude.
Silk Road Skunk (Original Haze x Skunk 1 x Skunk 18) (8 regs)
Golden Tiger (Malawi x Meao Thai) (5 regs)
Haze x Kali China (fems)
G13 Haze (fems)
Orient Express (Vietnam Black x China Yunnan) (fems)

Essentially the plan is to hit the nicest ladies with the best males from this selection. I know, I know. It sounds crazy. The high from Silverfields was outstanding, G13 Haze is already a favorite, so is SLH. I know not everything in there technically has Haze in it, but they all will after I get done with 'em!

Then comes Zhe Pinch, which is [(Santa Cruz Blue Dream x Zkittlez) x (Triangle Kush x 88G13HP)] and more Nature Farms stuff- first Raspberry Picker (Kryptonite x Mello Platinum GSC) and then Widowmaker Skunk ('95 White Widow x Skunk 18) a while later. Then come some fun Ghost OG and SFV crosses, courtesy of Motarebel/Green Rebel Farms- Tin Foil Hail and Black Swamp Gas, to be specific.

So essentially the last few months have been Ghanis, Hazes, Skunks, OG's, and a Widow cross with some fun stuff like Trinity, Kryptonite, SCBD, Hashplant, etc thrown in here and there.

Speaking of Widow, has anyone done side by side grows of Widow genetics from different breeders? Anyone have Widow genetics they absolutely love? Opinions on Black Widow vs. White Widow? Anyone a fan of Mr. Nice's G13 Widow?

Wow. Wow. I can't believe how good the high on Pipatxu is. The last one was okay, but this is on a completely different level. It's obviously Maizal Gord dominant, which is an African sativa. Tracers, waves of energy pulsating down my arms, and my face is almost numb. But! No anxiety, and a nice "jello body" feeling. I feel like I'm sitting on a chair that's floating through space. But I could also punch a baby bear in its shit.

Wow. I had an idea that she was a keeper, but wow. If she were louder it would be a near perfect daytime smoke. That plus the growth pattern, plus how easy it is to clone, plus stems that could support a small monkey? Hell yeah.

That clone is getting hit with so much pollen. Definitely Interstate Dragon, likely The Shoeshiner, Blue Power Mango, and Silk Road Skunk. Who knows what else.

So with the new flower room configuration and 2 gallon pots, I can fit 23 plants in there. That should be enough to keep me supplied sustainably with variety while not having any one plant taking over the room. *eyes hazes suspiciously*

Pulled down the Panama Red that was obviously fading, as well as the second Lemon Citron that will get revegged. Vaped some preliminary buds of the second Lemon Citron and it's significantly stronger than I remember. I'm fucking brainplowed right now. That's why there are no pictures attached to this post, because I can't move. 😄

Dropped Raspberry Picker [(Mendo Purps x Killer Queen) x Mello Platinum GSC], with Kali China and Zhe Pinch [(Santa Cruz Blue Dream x Zkittlez) x (Triangle Kush x G13 Hashplant)] following.

After that I'm torn between Widowmaker Skunk ('95 White Widow x Skunk 18), Tin Foil Hat [(Rugburn OG x Magnum Opus) x Pink Kush], and Black Swamp Gas [(Triangle Kush x G13 Hashplant) x (Triangle Kush x SFV OG)]. They'll all get dropped in the next month regardless, but I keep going back and forth on what I want to drop first.

The G13 Hashplant that's been revegging for a while has started to pop some new fan leaves. so it won't be long before it takes off. I'm leaning towards making her a mother. Same goes for CJxKQ, which has sprouted aggressively since revegging. It's got great bud structure and a wonderful head high, but it could be a little more rounded bodywise before I feel like it's close to a complete strain.

Silk Road Skunks are popped and have their helmets off! The Shoeshiners have their own containers now. 3 more Afghanis to differentiate and then it's all hazes after that. So far it's been about 50/50, possibly with more females. Some STOUT looking dudes, though.

One of the two remaining Silverfields was female, so there's one more that I really hope that is a male. Next to differentiate will be G13 Hazeplants and Valencian Hazes, with a couple Super Lemon Moons here and there.

I'll wait to elaborate. Right now I feel like I got hit by a truck, but in a good way.

I'll just start off with the bud porn.

CJ x KQ, top bud. 'Twas delicious.

lastbud.jpg

Greenbud's Lemon Pie. I didn't have super high hopes for this, but she's surprised me. Still 3-4 weeks out, but she's stacking and frosty now. Fun surprises like this are what revegging is for! She's Lemon Skunk x Amnesia.

pie.jpg

Look at this stout Supreme Lemon Lady. The best structure of the 3, easily. It's Supreme Lemon, which is Super Silver Haze x Lemon Skunk.

Screenshot from 2021-05-15 22-25-45.png

The purty side of flower. Moonshine x Amnesia is in the back getting very chunky. Both are supported by stakes because these buds are massive compared to the size of the stems. You can see the sexiest Supreme Lemon on the right, next to the 4-topped Lemon OG Kush that decided not to stretch. Makes finding that keeper (far left, middle) easy, at least. It'll just get revegged, since the clones that I took didn't take and there aren't any good branches on the plant to cut.

Screenshot from 2021-05-15 22-26-01.png

The late veg and reveg ladies! Lemon Citron (Lemon Tree x Geist OG) is the newest addition after having the top buds harvested. I'll just plan on revegging the keepers that I find along the way and chucking pollen at those.

The plants in there are all Silverfields and Framboise (super tight bud structure), as well as the Pipatxu keeper (second from left, in front). G13 Hashplant on the left is starting to take off. I actually decided to add my vaped bud to the soil in these, we'll see how that goes.

Screenshot from 2021-05-15 22-30-16.png

The female closet. The last Framboise got repotted today, so the only ladies in there are the Dragons, Ghanis, and hazes. Some rooting (and not rooting) clones in the containers up front.

Screenshot from 2021-05-15 22-29-53.png

The tent! The tallest Ghani dude (right, middle) and the other two that were throwing pollen got cut and put in the veg closet to reveg.

I won't be collecting pollen until I need it, and I'm not planning on using this for anything but the Afghan project. There are still 3 plants left to differentiate (front right of the big container), so that's at least a month out. The Super Lemon Moon dude looks like it's getting ready to start chucking, which is great for me because I've got a bunch of plants that I want to hit it to in the next couple weeks. I'll do the ol' "reveg while seeds are developing" routine on the Lemon OGK keeper, Supreme Lemon Keeper, Heavy Grapefruit keeper, Siberian Haze, and Lemon Pie (though it's already got seeds forming on a lower branch from Interstate Dragon) if there's time.

Silk Road Skunk is in the red cup on the left, Dr. Greenfunk is in the middle, and Raspberry Picker is on the right popping aggressively. G13 Hazeplant and Valencian Haze are in the left bottom container, and The Shoeshiners are in the right container, recovering from getting dirty during the transplant. I'll be rinsing every seedling before replanting from now on.

Later tonight I'll go through the plants in here to see if any new females have differentiated, but I just did a bunch of stuff.

Screenshot from 2021-05-15 22-23-55.png

Panama Red came down and is being dried now. On Thursday/Friday she'll be ready to jar. That'll actually be the last plant I harvest this month, unless something ripens crazy early. That Lemon Pie, the last Ghash, Lemon OG Kushes, Heavy Grapefruits, and Supreme Lemons will start coming down in a hurry next month.

These last two Lemon Citrons that came down are delicious, with a nice functional warm high. Likely going to turn the revegging one into a mother, along with Col'Jam bastard and Pipatxu.

Two Ghanis left to differentiate! It's likely, of course, that they're female. Same with the last Silverfields, alas. That Super Lemon Moon's pollen will essentially take its place, in addition to being thrown at Silverfields, the Lemon plants, G13 Hashplant, Pipatxu, Blue Power Mango, Blueberry Amnesia, Moonshine Haze, and more. That'll be a keeper dude for sure, joining a stable of the menthol stem rub Interstate Dragon, Afgaan 90, and another Afghan (so far). I wish I would have saved the best Framboise and Blue Power Mango dudes instead of killing them, but whatever. More of both beans can be dropped if they're outstanding.

None of the Original Hazes have shown signs of gender yet, but a few Valencian Haze males appeared today! Looks like the two Kubanskiy clones rooted, as likely will a Siberian Haze one. Hopefully one or two of the G13 Hazeplants are dudes, so that can get hit to the G13 Haze and G13 Hashplant down the road when they go into flower. Since G13 Haze and Hashplant have been two of the more effective strains for me personally, I'll be working those lines a lot. Crosses like G13 Hazeplant x (Haze x Kali China) and G13 Hazeplant x Orient Express just intrigue me too much not to try.

Gotta flip the last few Framboise, Silverfields, Dragons, and Ghanis first though.

Nerding out a little, I'm really happy with the historical range of genetics that I've got dropped.

Silverfields' mother is Super Silver Haze. Supreme Lemon's mother is Silver Haze. The Super Lemon Moons are, of course, progeny of Super Lemon Haze. SSH's cousin Mango Haze is the mother of Blue Power Mango. There's real Haze in Haze x Kali China, Valencian Haze (both via Oldtimer and Ace Seeds), Silk Road Skunk, and obviously Original Haze. G13 is all over the place. Hashplant is in Bubba Hash and Ghash. The Skunk from TNF is essentially a parallel line of the Dutch ones, Lemon Skunk is in all of the lemony beans (OG, Pie, Citron, Supreme)... Pretty much everything is either a modernized classic or an obscure heirloom.

I feel like it's important to nod to the past while moving forward, I suppose.

Actually haven't cut anything since that last update, the Lemon Pie and Lemon OG Kush are the closest two to being done but they're both at least 2-3 weeks out. That Framboise up in the front right isn't as terrible as it looks, I just defoliated it and pulled the branches apart because it's so tightly packed in terms of node density.

Here's the tent with the dudes and babies. Got at least one Haze male and some VH males to join the G13 Hazeplant and Super Lemon Moon dudes.

Also chucked a bit of pollen today. The Super Lemon Moon dude will probably get repotted and revegged within a couple weeks, but there were a few ladies in flower that looked too good not to hit now.

Lemon Pie x Super Lemon Moon
Lemon OG (tall pheno) x Super Lemon Moon
Supreme Lemon (stretchy broad leaf pheno) x Super Lemon Moon
Heavy Grapefruit x Super Lemon Moon
Siberian Haze x Super Lemon Moon
Kubanskiy Ubiyza x Super Lemon Moon

All of those will finish while getting revegged.

I just finished Bodhi Sakura and it was my best strain and grow hands down no comparison. This followed 4 years of growing indoors and out and over 15 strains hunting for one like this. My Dubba Dosi is going in two weeks and I'm going outside with my Guava Nectar. Currently in flower, week 12 with a Laos sativa. I'll bet this one goes 16 weeks easily. Total rain foresty leaf structure. Old school looking thin leaves. I'll post a picture soon. Cant wait for this one. Looks nothing like anything else I've grown.

BIg day. Had some new furniture come covered in plastic, so the grow spaces got waterproofed! The flower space is now slightly angled so the runoff can be more easily contained, with all electrical stuff double covered.

That last G13 Hashplant got chopped and is drying now

Lemon PIe is front left, about a week out. The Supreme Lemons are likely going to be after that, about 2-3 weeks out. Lemon OG Kush is in the middle, with the fading yellow leaves. Behind it is Blue Power Mango, with Blueberry Amnesia to the far right, still stretching. The Moonshine Amnesia in the front has been shedding leaves like crazy, but she's still stacking buds hard. By the end of the month, the Lemon OGK's, the Supreme Lemons, the Moonshine Amnesias, the Lemon Pie, Heavy Grapefruits, and Kubanskiy should be done. Hopefully those 11 plants get me through July. 😆

63leftflower.jpg

I moved the humidifier to the top shelf of the closet so there's room for another plant now. Remember that crazy vigorous Pipatxu? That cut of her just got flipped, with like 6-7 tops. She was starting to take over the late veg area.

63rightflower.jpg

I'm really, really happy with this Ghash keeper female, she's gonna be a mom. The high is potent, sedative, and relaxing, but not as drowsy as her sisters were. Got a clone of her that's gonna get dropped and flipped as soon as it roots. I wanna have this lady around for a while.

63lateveg.jpg

Also sealed the veg closet and did a tiny bit of defoliation. Yeah, I know, I need to do more.

63veg.jpg

Speaking of that Pipatxu, I'm gonna go pack a warhead of some now.

You know what? I've given the ladies enough attention. It's time for a dude post.

The keepers on hand: Interstate Dragon and a few 'Ghanis. I wish I would have refined my system while the Framboise and Blue Power Mango dudes were still alive, and not fucked up storing their pollen, but there are more of both beans to drop should the desire arise after sampling the end product and choosing winners of each.

Adding to the stable of Survivor Males are:

- Super Lemon Haze x Moonshine Haze (of great renown). This thing got the plants around it dirtier than being at a GWAR show, literally covering some of their neighbors' fan leaves with pollen. If this was outside in an equatorial climate I have no doubt that at least a pound of pollen could be taken off these genes.

Those beans have been a home run- the first female got repotted/topped/took clones of today also, in the amended soil of that G13 Hashplant pot. Just had to top dress with fishbone meal and kelp meal around the transplant and she was good to go. Judging by the buds on the Moonshine Amnesia, I might have to get a tomato cage for this bitch.

- @agseedco Original Haze C. I mean, there was a 50% chance that this was going to be a male, but now it's an unintentional homage to the legendary Haze C male. What I didn't expect, and what impressed me a lot considering the strain, was how quickly it flowered, the flower density, and how manageable the stretch is. Definitely worth further examination. I'm intrigued by this dude's potential on the best females of things like The Lemons, Silverfields, Blue Power Mango, Haze x Kali China, Orient Express, G13 Haze/sh/plant, Kubanskiy, Siberian Haze, Silk Road Skunk, Interstate Dragon, Heavy Grapefruit, and Bubba Hash.

There are a few Valencian Haze dudes, apparently at least two phenos. One is broad leaf (looks a lot like G13 Haze, which makes sense considering G13's presence in both parents) with tighter node structure, and the other a more narrow leaf, "sativa" leaning pheno. Only one of the three has started dropping pollen so far, but there's a lot of stretch to go before the culling of the weakest.

Looks like there are two G13 Hazeplant males at least. They're still in the very early stages of flowering so I can't say much except that I'm looking forward to crossing the survivor dude with G13 Haze, that badass Ghash keeper, Original Haze, Moonshine Amnesia, Bubba Hash, and a few others that are coming down the pipe.

In general I'm trying to keep the G13 crosses, the 2022 Blue Dream project (Blue Dream x ON Haze regs will be going down this month), the Afghan project, the Lemon project (Lemon Tree x ON Haze regs will be dropped soon as well), PKO crosses, and whatever I decide to throw at Pipatxu (which might actually be a legit 8-9 week flowering clone, we'll see on this run) separate. Haze will be sprinkled throughout, obviously. Essentially I'm trying to make unique crosses while staying away from the genetics becoming one muddy, homogenous, inbred pool.

Something will happen with Heavy Grapefruit and Framboise (might have to cross this with the Super Lemon Moon) as well, once those keepers have made themselves known. Probably Orange Gasm as well. Likely anything on the fruity but not overtly lemony spectrum that's coming up.

I want to get a handle on the effects of things like Zhe Pinch, Interstate Dragon, The Shoeshiner, Valencian Haze, and Dr. Greenfunk before chucking with them.

Also I know I haven't mentioned it recently, but PKO is very much still a project. PKO x Black Afghani (crossbred- males and females of both strains pollinated each other for these seeds) is getting dropped this month, and PKO F2 is starting in July. I visualize a few end products with things like Haze, Pipatxu, Orient Express, and The Afghan Project winner to round out the high, but generally more unworked strains. It'll likely eventually split off into something zoomy and dreamy, something inspiring and meditative, and something slate-clearing and narcotic once all is said and done. Same for all of the non-Afghan projects as well, likely.

Poekie

Poekie

My guess is some of the Valencian Haze (i named them Mountain Haze as i made the crosses up in the mountains) will be very sativa narrow leaf from the Oldtimers Haze, and some may have more influence from Dj Short F13 and might be more of a broad leaf quicker flowering phenotype.
I will see the results for myself this fall.
Still so many genetics to try...
Good luck with your growing projects!
