You know what? I've given the ladies enough attention. It's time for a dude post.
The keepers on hand: Interstate Dragon and a few 'Ghanis. I wish I would have refined my system while the Framboise and Blue Power Mango dudes were still alive, and not fucked up storing their pollen, but there are more of both beans to drop should the desire arise after sampling the end product and choosing winners of each.
Adding to the stable of Survivor Males are:
- Super Lemon Haze x Moonshine Haze (of great renown). This thing got the plants around it dirtier than being at a GWAR show, literally covering some of their neighbors' fan leaves with pollen. If this was outside in an equatorial climate I have no doubt that at least a pound of pollen could be taken off these genes.
Those beans have been a home run- the first female got repotted/topped/took clones of today also, in the amended soil of that G13 Hashplant pot. Just had to top dress with fishbone meal and kelp meal around the transplant and she was good to go. Judging by the buds on the Moonshine Amnesia, I might have to get a tomato cage for this bitch.

@agseedco Original Haze C. I mean, there was a 50% chance that this was going to be a male, but now it's an unintentional homage to the legendary Haze C male. What I didn't expect, and what impressed me a lot considering the strain, was how quickly it flowered, the flower density, and how manageable the stretch is. Definitely worth further examination. I'm intrigued by this dude's potential on the best females of things like The Lemons, Silverfields, Blue Power Mango, Haze x Kali China, Orient Express, G13 Haze/sh/plant, Kubanskiy, Siberian Haze, Silk Road Skunk, Interstate Dragon, Heavy Grapefruit, and Bubba Hash.
There are a few Valencian Haze dudes, apparently at least two phenos. One is broad leaf (looks a lot like G13 Haze, which makes sense considering G13's presence in both parents) with tighter node structure, and the other a more narrow leaf, "sativa" leaning pheno. Only one of the three has started dropping pollen so far, but there's a lot of stretch to go before the culling of the weakest.
Looks like there are two G13 Hazeplant males at least. They're still in the very early stages of flowering so I can't say much except that I'm looking forward to crossing the survivor dude with G13 Haze, that badass Ghash keeper, Original Haze, Moonshine Amnesia, Bubba Hash, and a few others that are coming down the pipe.
In general I'm trying to keep the G13 crosses, the 2022 Blue Dream project (Blue Dream x ON Haze regs will be going down this month), the Afghan project, the Lemon project (Lemon Tree x ON Haze regs will be dropped soon as well), PKO crosses, and whatever I decide to throw at Pipatxu (which might actually be a legit 8-9 week flowering clone, we'll see on this run) separate. Haze will be sprinkled throughout, obviously. Essentially I'm trying to make unique crosses while staying away from the genetics becoming one muddy, homogenous, inbred pool.
Something will happen with Heavy Grapefruit and Framboise (might have to cross this with the Super Lemon Moon) as well, once those keepers have made themselves known. Probably Orange Gasm as well. Likely anything on the fruity but not overtly lemony spectrum that's coming up.
I want to get a handle on the effects of things like Zhe Pinch, Interstate Dragon, The Shoeshiner, Valencian Haze, and Dr. Greenfunk before chucking with them.
Also I know I haven't mentioned it recently, but PKO is very much still a project. PKO x Black Afghani (crossbred- males and females of both strains pollinated each other for these seeds) is getting dropped this month, and PKO F2 is starting in July. I visualize a few end products with things like Haze, Pipatxu, Orient Express, and The Afghan Project winner to round out the high, but generally more unworked strains. It'll likely eventually split off into something zoomy and dreamy, something inspiring and meditative, and something slate-clearing and narcotic once all is said and done. Same for all of the non-Afghan projects as well, likely.
