Do you think i will be ok with the epistar? Or should i cough up the dough for the cree?

To be honest I find the prices of the 240w better. 2 240ws are a better deal then that 1 480w. Better spread too.

320w in a 2x4 is enough.

Hello everyone, i have been doing alot of research on quantum boards and every time i settle on a light i find something else or read something negative from a customer review .SMH. I have been in contact with Vicky from Kingbrite and Jane from Geeklight. I like the look of the geeklight but they have only sold 200,000 $ vs. Kingbrites 1,250,000 $. to be honest i never heard of either company before i decided to start a grow op. i have never bought a grow light before and all this info has my head spinning. Any advise would be greatly appreciated. i plan on doing a 3x3 or 4x4.
you went 2 240w in a 3x3 I would go with 3 myself.......
3 x 240w in a 4x4 I would go with 4 myself

3500k in ep
or
3000k in Cree..........................

stop playing around and buy them....

I'll sell you 3 240w 3500k Kingbrites used for 2 runs for 300.00 shipped ( I'm Joking/Maybe) LOL

I run 2 in a 3x3 plus 150w extra of red and blue....

If I was to do it again ....
I would run 3 at 75%.......................

Thanks, i have like 400$ left after the seeds to get a light or lights. i just don't understand why this decision making process has been so difficult. Maybe because i cannot afford HLG and this a big deal to me. So i want to make sure i make the right purchase.

I like Yuanhui, they offer a good price for LM301B + Meanwell boards. I would go with Epistar reds, IR and UV on a switch if you don't have that on another light already. The Yuanhui lights have a good dimmer attached and good customer service. I paid 132$ USD per 240W board + 90$ shipping for 2 boards. You can ask them to customize the lights to be 3000k + 4000k, good for seed to harvest.

Good luck deciding!

LED Has it's problems for sure.......

Nothing like the sun..........

If I could do this all again and I had 5 grand just for light's

I would run Kingbrite Strips for Beans
I would run Kingbrite's QB's for flower......................................
I would mix LED and HPS 1 for 1 in my flower.......................
