@NaturalTherapy
i respect you cali boys creating a bunch of strains based off of holland bred genetics. Don't take too much credit. California hippies are responsible for the near decimation of land race strains as we know it. Introducing these california hybrids that would cross pollinate indigenous land races so don't fancy yourselves cultivars or preservers of the strains.
Anyone knows most hybrid strains were bred and preserved in Holland. All OGs are a mix of landrace and hybrids developed in holland or just a mix of holland bred genetics.
everything else i fully agree with. you guys did fight the fight toward legalization but let's face it...was bound to happen eventually.
True thai...gone...real maui wowi gone, real acapolco gold gone. I've noticed you can't even find raw G13 hardly anymore. only crosses
strain hunters have had to start moving into south america and africa for land race strains now. i have malawi gold which is a land race which will be preserved as long as i'm breathing.
for more info read up on "the hippie trail"
First of all, You have a shitty attitude and you're poorly informed. If you're still reading, consider this...
People who actually know their cannabis heritage history recognize the region known as the PNW (CA, WA, OR) is actually responsible for breeding the strains which the Dutch companies only ever made popular and widely available. Haze, Northern Lights, Cali-O, Hashplant, G13, etc... all of these hybrids were already bred and stabilized in America well before Neville ever got access.
CA growers didn't fuck up landrace genetics- unique sociopolitical realities led to eradication efforts by government or law enforcement in many countries that led to the loss of many landrace genetics.
You go on to praise Strain Hunters and demonize other CA growers, but, seems to me it is Strain Hunters who are openly documenting their hand in the adulteration of the landrace gene pool, by offering their bullshit hybrids to indigenous farmers of wherever they film their advertising promotions called "strain hunters videos".
Honestly your message has nothing to with my only post in the thread, nor does it really have anything to say that makes sense within the context of this thread.
Congratulations on preserving your Malawi Gold or whatever.
