Really really close to your keeper, based on smell and looks. I'll go lighter on the soil amendments next go around. Got your cut in a lighter mix coming up. Not as clawed. This one's going to be top notch smoke tho.

And I wish I had grabbed a lil pollen off one of those males. Had too much going on and let a golden opportunity pass by.
Got beans left :-)

I have only a few of the bx1 seeds left. Good thing I have too many other things I need to start. I'd love to cross the Sour Power with the BFF, once I have those stabilized.

More plants to give away.....

Got some pics of Matilda/Kushdee starting to stink up my room and filling in nicely. With 11 days of veg before flipping.......not very long. These need to go at least another 4 - 5 weeks. Smells range from sweet and tangy to Afghan smelly armpits to mild earthy. Yields between very small and good. Super chunky and frosty buds. I'd love to grow a plant topped once with 6 weeks veg.. The right pheno would be huge yields of fire. All 4 phenos holding f2 seeds. Matilda has spicey burnt rubber smell you were talking about @altitudefarmer . One bud is full of bx1 seeds.

Nice work with these, brother.
Lmao @ afghani armpit!
Are there any with no smell, or very low? See any male flowers?
They look like some good herb; stoked about the bx1s; I'm about to produce a few myself.

Haven't seen any male flowers yet. One plant has very little smell but that could change in a week. But she's she's looking like high quality herb. They all look like bombers! Good work on these......which goes to my theory that there's a shitload of good breeding going on here in Colorado and anyone who buys seeds for hundreds of dollars for a name is a crazy. I'll get the bx2s working in the spring after my next run. All BFF f2s and TC f3 this winter. Should be a good run.

On another note....The BHOGs and TC f3s are ready for budding so I'm gonna try and throw them into my tent this week if my friend doesn't want them....trying to make f2s of BHOG andf test run of a few TCf3s..

Lol thats what i was thinking Afgani armpit ! must be a guy thing ..she looks fab though ... better than me saying smells like butterflys and sugar LMAO killer cross M

I got that sweet smell in pheno #2. You should find a nice male bx1 and cross him to the Matilda S1. Could make for an interesting mix of OG and kush.

Working on it, just to get something stabilized and consistent. At my current pace, it will be many years before I have anything inbred...lol
I was going for the OG/Sweet Kush combo with the WiFi x Kushdee. The results have either been citrusy sweet (Kushdee male has proven dominant) or very cheesy. I had one pheno that I would have sworn was UK cheese.
I really want to work on isolating Matilda's incredible smell and flavor. The phenos that didn't make the cut were great, just not what I wanted. Some folks did, tho, and they are now running cuts that nobody else has, including me.
A buddy of mine crossed Matilda and his Blue Widow male with some amazing results so far.

Day 1 bud:
3 Tai Chi f3, 1 female, 2 unsexed
6 BHOG, all unsexed

Can't upload pics for some reason onto computer.....need to work that out asap. Plants are 25 days old..

Chopping the Matilda and M/K's in 10 days......Matilda will be 9 weeks, the others will come down a little early (8 weeks) to make room for the newbies.

Chopped the M/Ks today....a little early but had to make room for the new round. Plant's went about 7.5 weeks.

Matilda reminds me of the Chemdog #4. Nice yield. Zesty.....almost lemony citrus and super skunky funk. Great plant. Should be making bx2s after this Tai Chi f3 and Bluehead OG round. Cutting her down in a few days around 9 weeks.

The new plants are blowing up...day5 and most have doubled in size, the BHOG not stretching as much as the TCf3. Transplanting from 1/2gal to 2gal plastic tomorrow.

You couldn't of squished for another week? Ddang

No way. After transplanting yesterday, the tent is now full. It's good though...the M/Ks were for seeds and budder. The seeds look perfect and buds are nice and frosty. They have a sugary sweet smell with a chemdog undertone. I might get 2 zips from all 4 plants.. There is no way I'm chopping the Matilda early. Her smell is top notch.....definitely a keeper.

M/K bud..

Thanks Coco. I'll be making beans till I drop dead. And I only smoke once or twice a month, mostly to test flavor and strength. I haven't bought seeds in 5 years and never will again. Everyone should make their own. It's way cheaper and they're killa!

I'm loving the BHOGs.....beefy plants and easy to grow. Everything I've touched with the DHOG has been a pleasure to grow. Crossed to the Blue Dream, these should all be massive yielding plants. They're in 2gal pots now and will be transplanted into 3 and 5gal pots in 2 weeks. Using the super soil mix(with a little extra Age Old Dried Fruit 2-10-20) I used with this last batch so no added nutrients needed.

5 years,, I'm at 10 years and still cranking them out!! More than twice a month though.. ;)

Peace,,
coco

Day 9: All plants have shown sex. 2 Fem, 1 male Tai Chi. 4 fem, 2 male BHOG.

Male BHOG I'm killing.....it's 4 inches taller and flowering faster than the other male. Males and females all growing the same except 1 indica leaner. Plants all smell like blueberry lemon funk. Plants were all transplanted yesterday..

Here's Altitudes' Matilda. She's everything and more than I expected. Be keeping her for a long time. Some of the best smelling herb I've come across in years. Looks like another few days for perfection....tric's are just turning milky.
