Outwest, in my 5 gallon smartpots i never have runoff, when planting the seedlings i add 0.6gallon of water, then i let them go for 7 to 10 days with no water, then i give 0.15 gallons of water every other day, and i increase that bij 0.075 gallons per time when increase watergift is neccesary, up to again 0.6gallons a day in full flowering.

Thanks, Krasi. So in 7 gallon pot, I should probably be doing .25 gallons every other day.

So I've been watering for a few weeks to the point of about 15% runoff (.75-1 gallon per plant). Clearly this is pretty bad, and I probably washed out a bit of the super soil nutes at the bottom of the pot. Sooo I'll probably have to amend at some point in flower. . .water less more frequently.

As always, your knowledge is valued.

nMEEKS, the NPK value of the tabs are 12-8-8.

nMEEKS, again:Dplease do share bro, i`m all ears ;)

Thanks for the N-P-K value! This manufacturer distributes both those N-P-K values that you mentioned, but here is a link to the values sannie's have. This is IMO most likely that same product Sannie is selling, and what makes that bad is the real distributer has a very clearly written statement at the bottom that says by purchasing from them you agree not to repackage or redistribute. . . and that is exactly what sannie is doing . . . and for about 10x the price, like I said. . . !

I know in the picture of his product the tabs are white/gray, but in the preview video on his site you can see that they are actually this dark gray/black color, and you can tell he did that to avoid the chance of people recognizing the product! Krasi I am sure you would recognize these as the same thing he sends you from hands on experience, so let me know if they look different.

Sannie's price = €9.00 for 10 tabs or €31.00 for 40 tabs (21g tabs)
(price in Euro)

Garden Link's price = $35 for 500 tabs (7g tabs)
(price in US Dollars)

Landscape Supply's price = $103 for 540 tabs (21g tabs)

I hope everyone can benefit from this cheaper source! I haven't checked how their international shipping works, but from their website, you can just copy the real product name, and google a distributer that will ship to you, since this is just one of many results for distributers of this product under its real name!

Gettogro, the Gavita ballasts do not prduce much heat, the lamps do offcourse, with a good exhaust en cool fresh air this is solved.

Darkplace, thank you, Gavita are some steps ahead when talking aboud light techniques.

Outwest, , that sound about right, and indeed when in flowering the plants start to drink a lot more and then you have too give more frequently, first lets say if you gave 1 gallon every other day, and that starting to be short, the go half a agallon a day and build from there;)

Delae632, thanks man.

Flowamasta, the Secret Jardin tents are good tents, the intense line are somewhat more expensive but u get supreme quality for ur money :)

nMEEKS, they are alike, in NPK value they are for sure, but...they do not look alike and Sannie`s tabs weigh 21 grams a tab and these ones weigh 7 grams a tab, i am sure these tabs do good too looking at the ingredients but they are defenitely not the same, sorr about that.:(

The tabs are in my opinion a good alternetive for Sannie`s tabs, but are also different in ingredients, Sannie`s tabs also buffer a good amount calcium what makes ph corrections not needed anymore, curious as i am i`m looking to buy me a pack to try them out :)

Outwest, no problem bro, anytime, remember not too water every plant blindly, lift some pots to get a good impression of pot weights and drinking behaviour, climate, water householding and soil life are the most important elements for succesfull growing, then comes hardeware and nutes ;)

Thanks for the new details about sannie's product Krasi! I used 21 gram tablets as an extra criteria for my search and was able to find this: 21 gram version for sale + product data sheet

This version still doesn't advertise any buffering ability. . . but it just looks and sounds so similar to what Sannie says is in his, and how it appears in his 'how to use' video, that I am really wondering if his product is any different. . . . maybe all of these buffer also, but don't advertise it the way Sannie does?

Anyways, the price is still massively cheaper than what Sannie is selling, so I would think it is probably worth a shot. . . but it is roughly 3x more expensive for the 21g tabs versus the 7g tabs.

Maybe you could take a couple pictures of the tabs you have laying around, so I can get a better idea of what to visually search for Krasi? That would help a ton I think!

Hi nMEEKS bro, those are the exact same tablets that Sannie sells, i did some research myself and it turn out the healthy start tabs are the same.
Still i don`t blame Sannie for making some extra money, he is the owner of Wietforum.nl, wich is free and takes a lot of time and probably money, on the hand he has a great variety of strains and organic products in his shop, even giving chance to talented breeders to make a name via his shop.
He was the lead developer of the BAC bio/organic line in his younger years so he know almost everything about organic nutes and soil life.
I am impressed b your researching skollz and curiousity, it matches my own, nice work man:D

Which of the tabs that nmeeks posted are the same version that you are using? This diary is a pretty incredible endorsement for the product.

Thank you, i`m just a grower who likes it easy and honest, organic does that, and it`s so easy with those tabs and in combination with Capulators Bennies for a great bacterial/fungee symbioses what creates a flourishing soil live.
You just have to water constant and adequate, create a good climate, provide light and the plant does the rest.

Keep in mind the tabs are perfect from seedling to week 3 flowering stage, i strongly recommend using mycorhizza and bacterial.
After week 3 u will have to start feeding, but this has to be organic nutes, especially for flowering and keep it to a minimal, once a week, also once a weak a compost thee will do the job.
If you want to do it easy all the way, look into those flower tabs from nirvanashop.

I'm thinking that even thought I've flushed out some of the super soil, I'll top feed with some extra super soil and bet set through flowering. . .I hope. I don't mind brewing the teas, I actually enjoy it. And if I can support a member of the farm in the process, even better. I want simple moreso than easy if that makes any sense. Thanks, brother.

I think ur plan might work, tpdressing also slow releases nutes.
I`m a big fan of tea brewing too, combining flowertabs with tea will work too, read the plant in the proces, she`ll tell u how she want`s it;)
