I had the same problem with some ogk. I raised the ph level and tacos disappeared. A tip I got from orcaman
hey i saw your setup on sin city forum hows the hydroton baskets work instead of the 3" rockwool you were using?
Looking good! Nice set up!
And to think, that some people referred to me as MacGyver ..... Nice tip Canappa. I think your NFT setup is stellar Bro.Ok some of you been bring up the question what do you cool your water with? Well here is the answer. Dont spend your money on a BS water chiller, buy a dehumidifier instead. I just bought this one on Craigslist for $10 bucks but its worth 10x that for what it can do here is what I did. I am not going to get all crazy about the details its as simple as it get if you cant figure it out you shouldn't build one...
"If you go and try and build your own its all up to you! I will not be responsible for anything that might go wrong, your build at your own risk not mine." Now that's done here are some pics:snaphappy:
My $10 Dehumidifier Its and old one but its built way better than the new ones.View attachment 438233

Check out the old school cooling coil in the rear, makes it easy to remove, cant find this on the new ones

I then removed the coil and unwound it, BE VERY CAREFUL at this point dont rush it but bend it to the way you need. I used a few plastic zip ties to keep it together while bending.

The end results water temp down to 64 degrees! pump off and 69 when the pump on, and that was only running for 20min:woot:
