I watch my males very carefully. When i do this, i watch everyday. When i see a single bract open, i chop. I know he dropped, even tho not very much, but i know it doesnt take much. He never gets a chance fully drop. All i wanna see is the first open bract. Even more, the plants on the male side got some pollen, but the other side of the greenhouse didnt even get touched. I can tell when i harvest. The plants that got some pollen, have 1 or 2 seeds at bottom of nugs. Thats it. Ive done this type of open pollenation for a few years now. My neighbors have no need for worry.

This year, i waited for him to start his drop, then chopped branches. Put branches in wine bags, and then slip inside girl branch. Tape bottom shut. When i pull the bags, three days later, i spray the whole area with water.

Finally got em chopped and hung. Am now running the kitchen at a local bar, so not as much time as I would like to garden. But am very happy with the girls this year. I think I could sell it as indoor if I put it on the market. My nugs filled in this year! Yay! Much less larf.

You can mess this up, and I'm here to prove it!
This is result from my last batch of horsetail f.p.j. the landraces, or leaning ones, and fire o.g. DID NOT LIKE all that juice. Am kinda worried for the thai plants. I put a sprinkle of hardwood ash on top of the bad ones, and watered like hell. The choc thai already seems like it responding well.

Ok, my buddy reminded me, that I threw in a cup of barley he gave me. This could be the reason I burned them. Wanted to post, so we can know it might not have been because I didnt dilute the fpj. It could of just been to much nitrogen from the barley.

I guess not too bad for losing 50% of the plants from the vaseline mistake. Pretty excited to get tickets to the science of regenerative cannabis cultivation conference close to Ann arbor michigan! These ppl are brilliant! Will be a great weekend! Am also happy to see an organic bud at a local dispo. I had to buy an 8. It was the stuff. Could feel the depth of the buzz.

Omg...am so happy. Just dried my first run, from a strain I created called lemon blue. She is blue dream x o.g. kush ( lemon or fire pheno) x sugar black rose. The lemon from the o.g. meets the blueberry so right. Like a blueberry tart. But the flavor and smell isnt why I love her. She is so medicinal. She calms very nice, without lethargy. The sativa from the blue dream comes through very nice. The sugar black rose gives speed, and floral. So happy to create medicine. Will be a part of my p.t.s.d. strain.

Last season I put suckers/carp under each plant. This year were doing smelt. Got 24 smelt going under each plant this year!

So happy to have them in the ground. Managing a kitchen has taken so much time away from this garden. So glad I got the fish dropped in, the rice hulls mixed in the cow, and the all the plants are in!!

Got lucky this year. They ran hard for a week. Could fill a bucket in a half hour. Thanks man!!

The greenhouse got destroyed by old man winter. Building new one this year. Got the covers on the way.

Have some bugs from a clone i got. I got some predators while they were in the closet, but now they have been transplanted outdoors. Outdoor predators will keep them ok, but grabbed some chitin. This will make the plant stink to keep the bugs away. And hopefully, will bring the funk!! And didnt get micos from my maple tree this year. So busy running this kitchen, so grabbed some bagged micos. Will see how the fungal freeway runs this year!!

I gave em a shake in the sandpaper room, and then put them in towels with 3parts water one part peroxide.
Cracking landraces is kinda difficult. They dont wanna crack like modern hybrids do.

Time to feed the wormies! Bananas, spinach, mushrooms, watermelon. All sulfur rich. And also other things, but sulfur is my main goal. And the word I keep hearing in regen farming is DIVERSITY. so I am trying to get sulfur rich foods, that are also easy to eat and from different food sources. Vegetables, fruits, and fungus.
