That is what I use in my coco grow, sparingly. The label says 5ml/GA and I think that may be ok for fresh coco but definitely lower later ( for me. My well water has little or no calcium AFAIK. )

If you get carried away with the CalMag - it will lock up multiple other elements and create a difficult diagnostic case. There are a few fundamental elements that are required but become toxic or inert if you start listening to the nutrient vendors and "kick it up a notch" on sensitive strains. I've found that Indicas are tolerant of my stupidity and take more abuse than my cherished Sativas.

So how much should I mix into 1 gallon of water ? Also I'm using FFOF soil
and while we were talking about stuff I was wondering right now I'm only going to grow two plants at a time in my tent I have the blurple light which pools 240w full spectrum and then the more square-shaped light lower on the right is a 65 watt more red spectrum so I just ordered one more of the 65 watt lights so I will have 165 watt on each side tilting towards the middle and then the blurple light center up higher do you think that would be a good amount of light for 2 plants?

And I meant to say I will have 265 watt lights on the left and right side of the 10 facing towards the plant and then one 260 watt light over top in the center basically putting between all three lights it would be a total of 395 possibly 400 overall watts of full spectrum light is that good?

It works the exact same way. Calibrate it in distilled water. And then just dip and read. It will jump +/- 20-40 ppm on my cheapo 20$ one. But it gives you a good idea.

What PPM to keep is the golden question. Simple answer, less is more.

It depends on the nutrients you are using. Not all PPMs are equally as "hot".

If I add only the Bloom and Micro (the required) Remo nutrients, I might be able to put it to 600 and be very safe. But then I may add MagnifiCal, AstroFlower, NaturesCandy, VeloKelp. In theory, all these different things are not supposed to interfere with each other. They consist of different stuff, and as long as their own individual concentrations are not too high, they should not be a problem. But each one I add adds it's own ppm. So if I am adding all that stuff the PPM may go up to 1200-1300. But only about 600 of them are from N-P-K

As a rule of thumb, using only the core nutrients, I would do the following.

Seedling: 0-50ppm

First few nodes: 50-200

Late Veg: 200-300

Early Flower: 300-500

Late Flower: 300-400

Flush: 0

This is just my own rough guestimation. But I have only ever used a couple of different brands of nutrients and my grows have never been perfect. So how knows.

Do you add the cal mag in with your nuets? Or do you feed them the cap mag seperetly?

I mix it all in together. But I dont always add MagnifiCal, only once in a while or if I see deficiencies.

As long as the Micro is diluted first in the water, doesn't matter how I mix it after that.

So I just changed some things around in the grow tent and was wondering what you guys thought of the grow tent set up so far I have a 290w yueme full spectrum light that seems to be working pretty good and then I have one 65w full spectrum light and one more of the same 65w lights on the way so ill have one 65w at an angle hitting the side of the girls while they grow higher and then the one 290w directly above in the middle. I have a carbon filter and inline fan then a humidifier and then one fan at the bottom pulling air from the outside and moving it into the tent the I have two fans about half way down on the sides points at the canopy of the girls just moving air around. I'm using Fox farm ocean Forrest along with the fox farm trip every other watering but am only using 1/4 strength and to top it off I got a gallon of cal mag today I am going to start adding in as well. So what do you think? And advise or suggestions? Also I and on day 4 of flowering and I've already started to see pistils popping out.and I keep an average temp of 75 to 80 tops with a humidity of 45%

Looks to me like you might have a heat stress issue coupled with water on the fan leaves in the light

I noticed this on one of the lower leaves today it may be a result of the problem I was having earlier in the week hopefully more of this won't show up but I started thinking most likely I was having a magnesium deficiency so starting yesterday I'm adding Cal mag in with the water for the feedings does this look like magnesium deficiency to you guys? If not what might it be

That's fresh foxfarm soil, I doubt there's any deficiencies. Looks like you're keeping it too wet? That will start locking things out after a while

My opinion is you're keeping it too wet, aka over-watering, good luck
