you got it going on sir...
where is that pic of your ro unit outside ??? Need to see how you hooked it up off the 3/4 pvc :) your home and I'm running pvc :) lol
Nevermind I got it...... it's in your coco posts
Used 3/8" copper tubbing as plastic tubbing won't last in the sun. It leaks (not bad, that's why my client got a new one) so I've got a ball valve to keep it off unless in use. I should have invested in a filter years ago.where is that pic of your ro unit outside ??? Need to see how you hooked it up off the 3/4 pvc :) your home and I'm running pvc :) lol

Nada, at least not yet. I'd really like to create a sog by either training or bunch of plants next year and it would be nice not having to remove males. I may keep a male or two this fall/winter. Who knows what might happen.Have you tried feminizing seeds with colloidal silver?
I'm embarking on my first CS project this fall, hope it goes well? I found a few CS products if you're interested I'll pass along the ones that were recommended to meNada, at least not yet. I'm putting a whole house filter 3/4 to a under sink ro unit, that I'm putting on a slop sink outside for use... Whole house filters need to be changed often, depending on your water quality. The pre-filter will take out most of the impurities but be ready to change every 2-3 months. Worth every penny! I hate Lowe's but if its after 5 the local hardware store is closed and unless I want to drive 50 extra miles to 1 way to HD that's my new store:(Whole house filters need to be changed often, depending on your water quality. This blog/diary is OPEN! Post away. I'll look for your posts as well. Well water is normally very hard and alkaline. Sitting in rocky soil will do that to water being one of nature's best desolver's. On top of that we pollute our water sources daily, collectively, as a society. It is what it is so filtering our water only makes sense.this is 1 of those times I wish I would of looked at the store before buying on line, but I have a post running here about my well,( don't want to burn up your post here) long story short I paided for the 2 ro units the same day I got the water test kit from lowes, everything from ao smith is on sale at lowes right now so I could of just got it all there for the same price... there units Look very good....

A carbon filter is needed most. Adding a 2 stage ($40-50) from Amazon or Home Depot would do it. Water hardness is difficult. RO units work well but there's a lot of waste. If you go that route try collecting as much waste water as possible and put in on the lawn/flower beds. Soil is pretty stable and forgiving.I just put this filter, iSpring WSP-50SL - Reusable Spin Down Sediment Water Filter/w Siliphos - Multiple Micron sizes, 20 GPM, 1" MNPT + 3/4" FNPT, in my cabin.
You open the valve and it flushes the filter. I got the 60 micron model. It removes 90% of the rust. I still need to add some more filters as well as a booster pump. RO’s need 90 psi to work properly. My system is only 60 psi.
