Thanks! I'll check it out. Have you ordered from them recently? Any problems ordering overseas during flu?Seedsman had a CBG strain you can buy seeds for (I have).
Seedsman CBG #1 Feminised Seeds
16.9% CBG with 0.25% THC from this new type of feminised cannabis strain.www.seedsman.com
I have. I got my stuff but it took a while. Weeks over estimate. Thanks! I'll check it out. Have you ordered from them recently? Any problems ordering overseas during COVID?
Yes. Delays, not so great customer service. I hope I see more high CBG strains in the US so I can buy here. Thanks! I'll check it out. Have you ordered from them recently? Any problems ordering overseas during COVID?
No need to jump on more fads with no real info. The effects are all likely a combination of a lot more than one cannabanoid and one terpene.
we havent even identified most of the cannabanoids yet.
as the info stands presently i find it best to combine as many different strains as possible for the fullest effects medical and otherwise. The multi strain keif and edibles are longer lasting and more potent than anything else i have tried.
I tend to mix flowers into a “salad” to smoke too.
Ok so first apologies for jumping on you a while back. Update? His autos suck ass, perform more like slow photos, and I had bud from seed weeks and weeks before these last two. And the fookin effort and nute adjustments were insane. In dirt I had these two jacked up to 900PPM including cal mag religiously at 6.3 with the feed feed clear cycle with only mild tip burn. The purple headband is fat, dense, frosted. That monster kush is some weak ass yield. I got it to frost... barely. But it smells good. Should be alright to smoke. But if I get more than 2 ounces dry off of that 6 foot tree, I'll faint. The headband should be a good yield but the time in isn't worth it.
His photos... Lemon Skunk #2, Blue Cookies, and GSC are all straight. But I had such a bad run of males that I had to replant A LOT. And then said fuck it and switched back to HSC, 3Thirteen, Hazeman strains. All of that is coming through veg now under LEDs. I have a couple of Mark's things going like a Blue God in flower and a couple of strains in bonsai clone projects. But I'm more focused on checking out unknown stuff while growing out and breeding "foundation" strains like Chemdawg #4, GG#4, Jack Herrer, White Widow.
I think a lot of what I first liked about weed as a kid tends to get buried in gas and fruits today. Weed used to smell like weed. Like when you walked into a room you KNEW someone was burning one.
I mean seriously. We used to get lit off of that seedy brick shit that spit red flower. We'd twist one up and get lost in Asteroids on the Atari with Kiss grinding through crackly portable record player speakers turned to 10. And somewhere between the time those joints were smoked and we were all cashed... a gallon of milk, a package of oreos would disappear and a pot belly would appear. Sleep time. During summer break that was the daily thing. Sleep until parents leave for work. Make sure they aren't coming back. Roll joint. HUGE bowl of Cptn Crunch. Atari. Too bad Deloreans dont really work that way...
I'm with you on the fads thing and discovered this thing with that one strain by accident. These guys jumped in and figured it out scientificky and I thought that was pretty cool. Some of them are pretty new to the grow so they are in exploration mode. And it's all good lol. We've all been there and stay stuck there at one level or another.
I'm into salads too. We just did a cone with GSC for thenfirstnhalf and Green Headband for the second. Nice euphoric (can you tell?) high with a heavy body buzz. Yummy lol.
Long forgotten bud. You were just defending your research and purchase. I didnt mean to fight about it. :-)
And i agree. And so do the breeders with the nice labs apparently.
i stuck with ch9 (who is apparently gone now both websites have disappeared).
Ch9 seeds were bred from old original sensei seed stock like jack herrer and power plant and hash plant. He cubed an amazing breeding plant. reminded me more of the early 80’s than anyones weed today. And the classic smell was there. Especially in his re worked ed rosenthal super bud. Lol. $250 for 10 reg seeds at sensei in the early 2000’s. $35 for the ch9 cross that was better. ;-)
later he upped the potency game with old motarebel stock like the pow. Mota souped up some of those old woodhorse strains. And then pete at ch9 crossed and feminized. Like Herijuana x Jack 33 and blue lemon thai.
but i needed new genetics and then won the potm so i have 4 pack of HSC fems now to grow. And some other stuff like useful seeds. 10 fems for $60 got a legit chem 91 cross and real chocolate diesel s-1 which has grown some amazing old school highs.
Thanks for the apology. You are a good dude!
A lead based on imperfect science is as good as any re: what to grow next. God knows people will spin bullshit nonstop anyway if you just try to look on the web. It's seriously just so overwhelming sometimes, especially because people tolerate different stuff differently. No need to jump on more fads with no real info. Somali ghost train!!Thanks! I really like Durban Poison, and it's typically mentioned in discussions of THCV. The company I used to work for had a fantastic cut that I loved, but they ditched it because it wasn't a yielder...
I've had a wonderful Chocolate Malawi, that I don't know the lineage of. I am sitting on some of Ace's Panama Red that I need to get to - didn't know it was known for CBG. I really need to grow some Africans - just haven't gotten to them yet. Another strain, whose name I love, is Somali Taxi Ride by Rare Dankness - Malawi X Nevil's Wreck. They no longer sell those seeds...

I mean the real answer is just personal experience but that can be limited for people. Or trusted recommendations...but again, who do you trust?
Potency? You got any landrace plants? Make crosses...you'll see
Yeah but, just for that example, you are going to have way better luck with seven strains from vastly different ancestries than seven strains that are some combo of chemdog, og kush, and skunk.i wish i learned hebrew well enough to read it. But i only learned how to read for my bar mitzvah. The Israelis are doing the best research. They are far ahead of our silly stoner industry.
But in time we will have much more info. We are really just getting started.
As far as what strain to grow next pick away. Im sure we all feel them a bit differently like you implied.
As for full medical benefits i am sticking to mixing as many strains as i can for oil. The difference is astounding. Any one strain concentrate feels weak to me now. Thin kind of.
The 7 strain muffin seriously put me up, up then away. :-)

I’m not big on fads and I’m not sure if you meant the CBG pursuit falls into that category. For me, seeing numerous presentations by Samantha Miller (analytical chemist) of Pure Analytics on cannabis gave me just a couple of directions I have wanted to pursue to treat my own neuromuscular shit. Availability of product and financial as well as environmental constraints has had me put this endeavor on the back burner for a few years. To be honest, I’ve been surprised not to hear more about it because it’s been years. This forum is the only place I’ve heard people even mention it. For me, it isn’t new. Maybe it’s just now getting more widespread attention. No need to jump on more fads with no real info. The effects are all likely a combination of a lot more than one cannabanoid and one terpene.

You stand a much better chance of ringing ALL the bells if you have more spoons (strains) to ring them with! I tend to put all of my oils together unless someone I’m making an edible for needs something specific. My personal stuff is just one massive hybrid.Yeah but, just for that example, you are going to have way better luck with seven strains from vastly different ancestries than seven strains that are some combo of chemdog, og kush, and skunk.
Also from strains that haven't had the life bred out of them by circumstances and naivete.
Or at least, that's my hypothesis. My reasoning being idk wtf is in them but if i want a shotgun blast then I want an even, wide spread.
Agree it's way easier to aim a shotgun than a rifle though. sometimes a shotgun is the best gun for the job too. And also that nobody in the world knows how to properly fire a cannabis rifle (as this metaphor strains to the conclusion of the thought).

You never know what you can find when you blow apart heterosis in the F2! But yeah the personality has been worn down.Fair point. The genetics i have been mixing have not been watered down. They are a mere step away from the best original stuff from the 80’s and 90’s. The ch9 plants are better than most i have tried. Feel and taste like real old school weed. But they were bred with it so makes sense.
I will see how other stuff goes now. For example the chem x bag of oranges is a watered down chem cross with a potent but typically modern flat high. While the same breeders chocolate diesel s-1 seeds grow great old school trippy plants. It is real sour diesel x chocolate trip (thai)
those seeds are made from the original clone. So all this breeding sure has taken away the best effects.
i dont believe more will help either.
