I do both. I wait until they have about 6 nodes. I remove the bottom node and top at the 5th node. Bend her over and secure with wire. Then as she grows I anchor the branches to the sides of the pot to keep her low and level.

I think it be best to let then recover less stress the better as you already know.
If they get to tall you can always cut back to anlower node
Maybe your could slightly gently bend LST and not damage stems when bending be OK then.

But personally less stress quicker they recovet uh?

How they looking now since that feed with no cal?

I agree. Wait until you see vigorous growth before topping to minimize stress.

Just not sure if stil over watering. Confused now because I've always soaked them.in coco then wait few days til dry. Like wet dry wet dry. And I've done alrite as I said before 4 plants 600 watt average between15-20 oz.. I think the rootball was not tha big eniugh to feed everyday. Or maybe shud get fed everyday but little amounts. But then you dont get run off.
In fact I've only ever watered to run off once in 3 years.

I keep over watering use to be a lot now just a bit, literally last few days iv been over watering a bit again so iv been bottom feeding, I want to go onto auto pot like i use to in soil but with coco
I only been top feeding and to run off as I'm still experimenting with coco
And only problem I seem to get now it over watering, but only slightly but its enough to make my plants look/grow not as good as like.

I think you should water and let dry exactly like you use to before and hopefully it was the calmag causing problems so things should go better.

Im gonna start letting my coco dry a lot dryer then normal do in next few days and see what happens ,.
When i stated I didn't use calmag and I let the coco dry like soil and my plants look gret. Buy after reading stated watering more and got problems,, and other problems with hot coco to much to explain

Like you said i might try not watering to run off again its a bit like bottom feeding I suppsoe less chace of over watering.

Id rather not water to.run off.and I'd rather bottom feed
Only reason I tried different was reading about salt build up..

Bottom feeding my roots explode through The fabric pot as they only drinking what the want no over watering

Yeh think I'm going to. People say dont know let it dry but when in have dosent really cause me any issues. Stil getting good product and yield.maybe could be better.
I dont water to run off because its hassle to remove it. I've been told if not feeding to run off every third feed use just water. Wa size pot you in and are you still in veg or flower. And how much would you say you water in veg. Half litre a time? More.or less.

Never used to water to run off.. maybe occasionally water come out the bottom but didnt intend to. I think watering daily wud be fine when roots are well established. But this time around to much water when they was about 15 days old from seed as slowed everything down.
When I'm.in 12 litre fabric pots in flower always water everyday about litre an half at least a litre.
Depends how heavy the feel..

Just bort a soil moisture metre probe. Seems people think coco shud never dry out. Would that mean if it says moist water it. Or water it when it says dry

I also have fabric pots, 12 or 15 litre and exactly like you said I'll water everyday when their big in flower about 1litre / 1.5 run off to run off, but iv been wqywrijg less last few days and they seem the be liking it..

That soil moisture test be food idea , people are going to tell you tho coco likes to stay wet,, but like I said before im sure this bagged coco we buy is little different from pure brick coco, also canna
coco my coco the site says let it dry for better air to the root

I'm gonna get moisture metre myself soon to experiment.. Where are you from UK is it?
